Today's Considerations

[Greetings. Please pardon the interruption in the posting of the new series. Our webmaster was making requested changes to the architecture of the blog site which should make it more user-friendly. Thanks for your patience.]

F.: We have seen that, because Maharaj's understanding of the actual roots and the true nature of the Ultimate Sickness changed over the years, the treatment plans which he used over the years to cure the Sickness also changed.

Initially, he tried but abandoned the use of a dogma / non-duality combination version of the Ultimate Medicine; later, he tried but abandoned the use of a spirituality / non-duality combination version of the Ultimate Medicine. In both cases, what he found was that the two most popular assumptions being made about the root cause of the Sickness - that the Sickness is caused by not being religious enough or that the Sickness is caused by not being spiritual enough - were both misdiagnoses.

He found that the Sickness was not centered in an "impure heart" or in a "sick soul" but was centered in a sick mind, a mind made sick via the passing down of contaminates and psychic bastardizations from one generation to the next by way of programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination. The result: a planet-wide pandemic of "ignorance and insanity."

Eventually, he came to understand that trying to treat a mind issue which has resulted from the overloading of that mind with bogus concepts, ideas, perceptions, and distortions (a.k.a., "beliefs") was tantamount to trying to treat the brain damage sustained during a horrific car accident by operating on the liver.

In the eBook below on "Programming, Conditioning," etc. his observations on the mind are shared, some of which included the following:

" . . . Your confusion is . . . in your mind."

"Whatever is conceived by the mind must be false, for it is bound to be relative and limited."

"Distrust your mind and go beyond."

"All illness [including the Ultimate Sickness] begins in the mind."

"There is no chaos in the world except the chaos which your mind creates."

There is no such thing as peace of mind. Mind means disturbance; restlessness itself is mind."

So the mind must come to an end if chaos and disturbance and restlessness are to end; then only can come an end to restlessness and going and doing and zooming and racing about insanely. And how does the mind comes to an end? By flushing it, thereby removing from it all bogus concepts, ideas, perceptions, and distortions (a.k.a., "beliefs").

The Realization process is not about "replacement," meaning the replacement of bogus concepts, ideas, perceptions, and distortions (a.k.a., "beliefs") with new bogus concepts, ideas, perceptions, and distortions (a.k.a., "beliefs").

When something is flushed, it is flushed. To flush a load of waste and then replace it with another load of waste is to cling to contaminates whereas Realization is solely and sanely about the removal of all contaminates, not the replacement of contaminates with more contaminates - including the contaminates of religious programming and the contaminates of spiritual programming. ALL programming must go.

Thus, Maharaj said that the mind must go, completely.

He said that persons must reach a state of "zero concepts."

He said: "As to 'my mind'', there is no such thing. There is consciousness in which everything happens" [or appears to happen].

He said, "I am double dead. Not only am I dead to my body but to 'my mind', too."

To be continued.

Please enter the silence of contemplation.
