TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS
ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. [See the offer in gold text following this post for details on how you can watch a retreat on video which includes a detailed discussion of all seven of the steps on the path as used by Maharaj]
2. Here, with those who are still driven to talk about "god," the "Son of god," the "Holy Spirit," "Buddha," "Krishna," etc., etc., etc., the invitation to them is to view those as verbs, not nouns. See the green text after today's post for the full meaning and implications of that.
3. A new video ("Number Ten: Awakening Together Satsang, March 2018") has now been added in the far right column of this page, offering the opportunity to view a recent 2018 satsang session with Floyd being interviewed by Regina and Jacqueline of "The Awakening Together Group." (See the details in the blue text after this post.)
From yesterday:
The "ready seeker" at the third level of seeking will be uninterested in religious or spiritual doingness and will take level-appropriate pointers, offered one-on-one, into quiet consideration. At this point, if the readiness is there, the seeker will be ready to abandon a life-long effort to learn more and more and will see that it is unlearning that is required.
As Shakespeare said, "The readiness is all," and what happens during the third stage - The Forest Dweller Stage - is what often leads to the readiness.
If the readiness is there, then a seeker can move into the fourth stage and actually begin the "journey" to full realization, full realization being the state of abiding naturally without being driven by body or mind or personality identifications or concepts because a no-learned-ignorance state has been reached by virtue of having first reached a zero-concepts state which is marked by having no beliefs at all.
To review the “Stages”:
Stage I: Being Programmed to Accumulate (Ages 1-20)
Stage II. Accumulating (Ages 20-40)
Stage III. The Forest Dweller Stage
Those were labeled, “the stages which must be passed through before the actual ‘journey’ can begin.”
Forty years of the lives of most persons will be dominated by and absorbed with and engrossed in accumulation. For twenty years, the focus will be on programming persons to accumulate. For twenty more years, (or many, many more) they will sleepwalkingly follow their programming
All persons—all personas, all false identities—are rooted in one fashion or another in a belief in the ability to “possess.” Why? Because there is first a belief in the lie that "The Possessor" can exist. In the planet’s cultures of accumulation, a message of "getting" is conveyed early on by programmers, a message which leads to the belief that there can be “Getters” . . . there can be "Accumulators":
“Get a good education so you can get a good job (or forget an education and just go get a crappy job) so you can get a good home and get good things to fill it up with and get a good spouse and get a good family and get your offspring a good education (or not) so they can get as well.”
And so the programming goes. In such cultures of accumulation, a dualistic belief in separation becomes a given, the “garbage collector” being worth less (“worthless”) in comparison to the CEO.
[The actual worth of the two might be better understood if you see the results of both of those types taking a one month vacation:
If a CEO takes off for a month (and most take off far more time than that every year) the company will chug right along because the real “workers” and “producers” will still be on the job; if all garbage collectors were to leave the job for a month, chaos would prevails and industries in the affected cities would come to a screeching halt. Just as I have said that I’d prefer to live with or deal with a “sinner” than a self-proclaimed “Spiritual Giant,” so too one can give me a garbage collector any day over the typical CEO.]
So, twenty years are spent in being programmed and sold the idea that accumulation is preferred to simplification and de-accumulation and saving.
The next twenty years will usually be spent actually accumulating.
One country which has a population that is particularly focused on accumulating is the U.S. Here, the 2017 nominal median income per capita was $31,786. The mean income per capita was $48,150. The real median household income was $61,372.00.
Yet that same year, the typical U.S. household spent $60,060.00.
That results in the typical U.S. household being subject to financial fragility, especially among minorities and those lacking higher education.
Millions of adults in the U.S. have reported that they would need to borrow or sell something to pay for an unexpected expense of $400. Millions more have no retirement savings, and millions skipped necessary medical care in 2018 because they were unable to afford the cost.
With enough money to “live comfortably,” why do most not do so? Because they have been programmed to blindly spend all that they make annually.
How much of a typical life is absorbed with accumulation and being stressed by the effects of that practice?
Look to life expectancy tables to find the answer:
In Japan, where life expectancy is the longest of that among 182 other nations, the average for both sexes is a little over 83.6 years.
The U.S. ranks #31 on the list, with an average expectancy of 79 years. [Note: That is for whites. The indigenous population has the second shortest lifespan of all and African Americans have the shortest.]
In the nation at the bottom if the list, Sierra Leone, that average lifespan is 50 years.
Thus, most persons on the planet will spend at least 50% of their entire lives focused on accumulating, and some will spend 90% or more of their lives focused on accumulating
Those at the top of the life expectancy list accumulate “extras” while those at the midpoint and below on the list focus on accumulating “the bare necessities required for survival.”
So what happens with most humans after forty years of being dominated by and absorbed with and engrossed in accumulation? One of two things:
After forty years of accumulating and trying to impress society or please family and parents and mates and spouses, all arrive at “a fork in the accumulation road.”
[Research shows that most nowadays actually reach that fork somewhere after their 40th year, specifically, at the age of 41-and-1/2, on average.]
So what happens at that age?
Most never “see” the fork and never see the “other option” on the route which they are blindly following in their sleep; thus, they will move along as they have done before, accumulating, accumulating, accumulating.
A few will see the fork after asking the questions which many do ask at the age of 41-and-1/2 if they reach a “midlife, existential crisis” which might lead to a never-before-considered recognition of their actual condition and patterns.
Some few at that point undergo a shift in focus from (a) unconsciously accumulating to (b) reckoning with their “mortality” and / or their sense of a dwindling number of remaining years of “productive” life.
Some get into “self-questioning,” questioning decisions made years earlier or seeking some so-far-illusive “meaning of life” or some other change or shift away from the road they have been on for four decades.
For some, a desire to change or “shake things up” might be triggered by the manifesting of added stress, anxiety, depression and / or despair, though in many cases those conditions don’t even consciously register.
Some may ask:
“Is this all there is?”
“What is all this about anyway?”
“I am tired . . . really, really, really tired. Is there another way or something else other than what I’ve been doing all my life?”
If the symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness generate enough pain and suffering and misery, then only might the readiness to wake up actually manifest. If so, those persons might take the other fork and begin seeking earnestly to be healed and to be free of the symptoms of the Sickness which have been ignored or denied for forty years.
Then, one might transition beyond Stage I: Being Programmed to Accumulate (Ages 1-20); beyond Stage II: Accumulating; and then enter the seeking stage - Stage III: The Forest Dweller Stage.
If they cross paths with one that can lead them on the reverse “journey” and show them how to return and go back, then they might be able to abandon body and mind and personality identification and return to “The Child No-Knowing State” or “the Child Ignorance State.”
That is where they were abiding prior to being programmed, conditioned, etc.; where they were abiding prior to being inundated with learned ignorance in mass quantities; and where they were abiding prior to being driven insane by the persons in their cultures.
To be continued.

Here, with those who are still driven to talk about "god," the "Son of god," the "Holy Spirit," "Buddha," "Krishna," etc., etc., etc., the invitation to them is to view those as verbs, not nouns.
THE EXPLANATION
If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."
The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.
"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and earth shall fade away."
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and hell are not geographic places
but are states of mind, nothing more than
concepts dreamed up by men."
--Pope John Paul II
"There is no hell."
--Pope Francis, the current pope
in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,
a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record
teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.
[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.
And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?
Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?
The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)
With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.
The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
