THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS PEACE OF MIND [Continued from earlier] “MIND” and PERSONALITY: What Cultures Consider “Assets” Are Actually “Liabilities” Part Three Three key symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness which Maharaj identified are “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity.” He did not say that a key symptom of the Ultimate Sickness is a result of humans learning too little dogma; he did not say the a key symptom of the Ultimate Sickness is people having some sort of “spiritual malady”; and he did not say the a key symptom of the Ultimate Sickness involves people not being “spiritual enough.” He did come to see that he had wasted thousands of opportunities for seekers to receive an effective treatment for what ailed them because he was sharing religion-based pointers and spirituality-based pointers as a totally-ineffective “Ultimate Medicine treatment plan.” Once he saw that the three key symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness are “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity,” he also saw that those have one thing in common: the mind, the false concepts-and-beliefs-filled minds of people who had been bizarrely programmed, conditioned, etc. He saw how body identification, mind identification and personality identifications were at the root of warping the mind to store false beliefs and then to pass on their false beliefs in order to advance their agendas, some of which were operating at a subconscious / unconscious level. Thus, one of the major “problems of the planet” is personality identifications and the warped mind’s effort to support those false identities and images; furthermore, the treatment for identification with personality will never be sought simply as a result of being diagnosed with a personality disorder. Most persons will either remain blind to their disorders, will deny their disorders, will discount or dismiss their disorders, or will minimize the relative effects of their disorders. Some will even use their personality type to justify their behavior and dismiss any suggestions that they consider getting free of the effects of personality, claiming, "That's just the way I am." Usually, major consequences are required in order for most persons to be inspired to even try to become free of the impact of personality and the destruction associated with their personality-driven conduct. While some cultures make exception for those suffering from clinical mental illnesses (“innocent by reason of insanity”) most do not understand at all the far more prevalent nonsense and suffering generated by personality. Therefore, both the problem (personality) and the solution (Realization) are being identified to allow visitors to know where their problems are likely rooted and to know that the solution is offered via the non-dual understanding and reaching a state of full realization. If no relative existence consequences manifest from the nonsense and stupidity and misery and suffering that are generated by (the always defective) personality, then persons will never exert any effort to become free of personality defects and the relative-existence-effects of those personality flaws. Seekers are those who know “something is wrong in this picture” or who sense that "something is missing” or who at least consider the possibility that “maybe some of my ideas and beliefs and thoughts are contributing to my problems.” The non-seekers living under the influence of personality will continue along their destructive path and can eventually become sociopaths who will never seek any change or any alternate perspective. They will fight to defend their false images / personas to the “end.” Three factors cause persons to attach to their false identities, to be driven to fight to defend their false personality / personalities, to descend into the depths of what some professionals term “an unhealthy psyche,” and then to suffer the effects of personality disorders. Those three factors are (1) stress, (2) extreme piety or spirituality, and (3) the linking of money / income with a persona. For example? One who receives money as a result of playing a spiritual role will become far more attached to the role than one playing a spiritual role for ego-gratification only but not receiving money as a result of assuming that role. As another example, a person sitting in a congregation playing the role of “The Super Christian” becomes far more trapped in that role if she / he is subsequently hired to serve on the staff of the church and is paid to work in that position. All three areas will be reviewed. STRESS: The enneagram method of "personality classification" and "behavior forecasting" is highly accurate in showing that certain types will disintegrate into behaving like another type when under stress. (No recommendation is being made to become an “expert” in personality functioning. It will only generate another ego-state, it might give credibility to personality rather than help all personality dissolve, and it is certainly not necessary to become an expert in mirages to understand a mirage is a mirage.) The pointer is, persons who are stressed will cling to their personas, will fight to defend their image(s), and will stay absorbed in personality until it drives them into those levels of "an unhealthy psyche." INCOME: It should be easily understood why a persona that generates income will drive a person to attach to and defend that persona. ASSUMPTION OF “GOOD ROLES”: That leaves extreme piety and / or spirituality. Most who play those roles, even including non-dual seekers following some of the newer paths or the traditional path, haven’t a clue that they have merely fixated in another role when the goal is to be role-free. Others will claim that their religion or spiritual program is “getting them in touch with ‘the Great Reality’” or “makes then kind and loving” and "does nothing to create anything that separates them from others." Records of the historical conduct of those two personas as well as objective observation of their conduct nowadays attests to the contrary. Those roles do represent the third step to a return to being in contact with Reality or reality, but to fixate in the playing of those roles will prevent full realization. Now an additional obstacle to realization can be seen. A basic irony involved in the search for realization and freedom from personality is that the very reasons that inspire many seekers to undertake the “journey” are also the very reasons that they cannot complete the “journey.” Some seekers want to be stress-free and at peace. Some seekers long to be free of all role-playing and to abide authentically and to find the answers to the age-old questions about "the functioning of the Totality." Some want to live in a simpler fashion and to be free of the money games and the accumulation games in which they are trapped. Yet stress, role-playing “the good roles” of “The Religious One” or “The Spiritual Giant,” and co-mingling role-playing with money accumulation are the three buttresses that support the assumption and defense of phony roles . . . of false identities . . . of personality. What is the solution? To be continued. Please enter into the silence of contemplation.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
