TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS

THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS PEACE OF MIND Peace cannot come via use of the mind (that is, via the use of the nonsense stored in the mind as a result of ignorant and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, indoctrination, and / or brainwashing). Peace comes when nonsense and ignorance and insanity goes, and when nonsense and ignorance and insanity goes, realization manifests. That is, per Maharaj, this is all that realization is: it is the expunging and deleting and discarding of all of the garbage stored in the mind; the discarding of belief in the false; and an awareness of the truth which can be understood but which cannot be stated. Realization is a wiping - a purging - of the parts of the brain which form the hard drive in which information is stored and from which is can be retrieved. The interesting thing about “seeking” or “following a path” or “undertaking the journey” is that those seekers and followers and undertakers, as well as those who never seek and those who never follow and those who never undertake, WILL end up in the same state or condition. The only difference? Those who never seek and those who never follow and those who never undertake will simply reach their ultimate state or condition later rather than sooner. The difference in that regard? Those non-seekers / non-finders who reach their final state or condition will have had a far different, far more chaotic, far more insane relative existence. The non-seeking, non-finding masses are all trapped in the planet-wide state of being driven by duality-based beliefs and thoughts and words and actions and will be guaranteed to have a miserable, no-peace relative existence. Their no-peace existence, trapped as they are in their attachment to the ignorance and insanity which has been accumulated and is stored in their peace-denying minds, will be unbalanced and unhinged and unsound and unsteady and insecure and fear-driven and volatile and erratic. Thus, Yeshu’a said, “A dual-minded person will be unstable in all ways” (and will, therefore, have a relative existence marked by their being unbalanced and unhinged and unsound and unsteady and insecure and fear-driven and volatile and erratic). Moreover,
transitioning the relative existence in an unstable and unbalanced and unhinged
and unsound and unsteady and insecure and fear-driven and volatile and erratic condition
can only generate pain and misery and suffering. The realized merely avoid all that. Can “the realized” end up the same way? Sure. If humans tolerate and empower those in professions who are “playing God” and deciding who is to die and who is not to die and when one is to die or not and who ignore “Do Not Resuscitate” instructions, then the length of the relative existence can be extended far beyond what is natural. And when that is the case, then pain and misery and suffering can also manifest, realized or not. Consider Maharaj’s final conclusion drawn about the steps on “the path”: Originally, he was using a seven-step method. Later, he would recommend completing only the first four steps and eliminating the last three. That means, he said, “You need not find out who you are (which was the task in steps five through seven); it is enough to find out who you are not.” That
happens by the point that the third step ends. In step one, it is found that
one is not the body; in step two, one finds that one is not defined by the
content in the mind; then in the third step, it is found that persons are not their
assigned or assumed personalities . . . be those “bad” ones or “good” ones; be those "phenomenal identities" or supposedly "Noumenal identities"; be those a multiplicity of "selves" or some supposedly Infinite Self, Supreme Self, True Self, whatever. Once belief in any and all identities is discarded, then one moves to the fourth step, which is the “Child Ignorance Stage” or the “Child No-Knowing State.” See, as Maharaj advised, one “goes back” and then peace can manifest as happens with a child who has no mind and therefore has no BS stored in its mind. Fed?
Lying in a comfortable ambient temperature? Dry? Done. All is fine with that child. Peace
happens because there are no thoughts yet which can distract the child, which
can make the child “feel good or feel bad” about itself, which can generate what sounds like the chatter of a thousand monkeys in the head. Might both seekers and finders as well as non-seekers and non-finders end up in that same condition? Sure, if their relative existence is extended long enough for dementia or Alzheimer’s to manifest. Observe
an elderly person sitting in a wheelchair, not knowing who she or he is, leaving
it to others to clean them up after making a mess via their bodily functions, leaving
it to others to feed and clothe them. Same with a child. Realized or not, those who reach late-stage dementia or advance stage Alzheimer’s share some of the traits of abiding in the “Child Ignorance Stage” or the “Child no-Knowing State.” Again, the only difference? The various aspects of the relative existence. Post-manifestation, the “destiny” of all is the same: the composite unity’s plant food elements will return to the universal pool of plant food elements; the final breath of oxygen will return to the universal pool of oxygen; and the composite unity’s temporarily-manifested conscious-energy will return to the universal pool of conscious-energy. As far as any "rationale" for realizing, that can only be assessed in terms of its impact on the relative existence. Meanwhile, the mind has nothing to do with normalizing that impact but has everything to do with guaranteeing that the remaining existence will be totally abnormal and unnatural and unbalanced and unhinged and unsound and unsteady and insecure and fear-driven and volatile and erratic. To be continued. Please enter into the silence of contemplation. |
