OVERCOMING THE FEAR OF BEING TOTALLY INDEPENDENT
On Tuesday, that was offered for consideration:
A key question thus becomes, “Are you truly ready to be totally free?” Most will say, “Yes, of course!”; however, their behavior says, “Well, maybe not truly ready and maybe not totally free.”
Consider this irony: one’s primary personality type plays a key role in influencing how seekers address - or do not address - the task of abandoning all personality identification.
One key myth about horoscopes is that there is a fairly even distribution of population by zodiac signs with specific personality types showing up in twelve (or sixteen) zodiac signs.
The Enneagram Personality Types, by contrast, have huge
diversity in terms of the percentage of population. For example:
Fifty percent of the planet’s population share the same primary personality type in particular; another type only has ½ of 1% of the planet’s population exhibiting that personality style as a primary type.
Specifically, 50% of the planet’s population share the Personality Type Six as their primary type; by contrast, only ½ of 1% have the Personality Type Four as a primary type.
That means that 3.9 billion persons on the planet have the Personality Type Six as their primary type (and thus the key influence of their thoughts and words and actions).
By contrast, only 39 million persons on the planet have the Personality Type Four as their primary type (and thus the key influence of their thoughts and words and actions).
Most persons on the planet are psychically unhealthy. In the case, of unhealthy Type Sixes they will be dependent and co-dependent (for a time); they will be driven by fear, will seek the security of a caretaker (or caretakers), and will socialize in large crowds to find the one who is best suited - especially financially - to take care of them.
They can be hypervigilant, controlling, paranoid, rigid, testy, and have a huge sense of entitlement. They will settle for the richest one they can find, no many how many personality disorders that rich one might show them.
Additionally, they are masters of manipulation and can program and condition their mate to “walk on eggshells” around them.
They will eventually manipulate their mate to cover “all expenses+” and to allow them to quit work. Their key tools are their appearance and their willingness to use sex to hook a rich person.
They often display the Borderline Personality Disorder as well as their Dependent Personality Disorder and the Attachment Disorder.
If Sixes have not yet snagged a rich caretaker, they turn to institutions to fill that role until they find the rich one they want. They appear in large numbers in the military, for example, where they are given clothing, housing, medical care, etc.
As for unhealthy Type Fours, they can be withdrawn, stubborn, and moody, but like the Type Four Maharaj, they are the most capable of finally realizing.
They can question and can be “individualistic” and are often referred to as "rebels" or "mavericks" or "provocateur" or "agitators." They are among the few that "march to the beat of a different drummer."
They can cast aside beliefs which were taught to them; by having that “big maverick piece,” they can be independent. They are capable of being intuitive and capable of forming visions which allow them to see “the big picture.” They are seldom “ordinary.”
While they can establish “connections” with people, they remain independent and do not look for anyone to “pay their way” for them. They are especially attuned to beauty, be it in paintings, in sculpture, in architecture, etc.; in writings; and in nature with its variety of sunsets and landscapes and humans and animals.
Look at the fact that 50% of all humans are dependent and want to stay that way (at any price) while only ½ of 1% prefer independence and freedom.
Those are facts on which this was shared:

In this series, we’ll be discussing how humans can overcome the fear of being totally independent (or transcend the drive to be dependent and “taken care of”) and might shift from giving up their freedom if they are being taken care of and actually taking whatever steps are required to be truly free.

Few understand that the free ride they think they have engineered and finagled and wheedled is not free at all.
