BEING FREE OF THE EFFECTS OF FAULTY PROGRAMMING (continued)

 

Yesterday’s post ended with this:

 

Because persons are trapped in their programming, they can believe themselves to be powerful when they are powerless; can believe themselves to be making choices when they are being driven subconsciously; can believe they are generally happy when they are suffering depression; and can believe that “that was then . . . this is now” when in fact their “past” is still very much their “now.”

One protégé described a father who was physically and verbally abusive, able to use his tongue to slice away any esteem or self-respect the child might have had. The father was emotionally-unavailable and usually physically unavailable.

 

To continue.

 

His looks when angry sent a message that he could kill, and his moods were so unstable that hug-slug became a way of life: say “hello” as he came in one evening and get a hug; say “hello” the next evening and get slugged. The protégé contacted me as an adult on the occasion of his marriage dissolving. He did not have a clue as to why.

After understanding that his “then” was still very much his “now,” he came to see how his programming had inspired his compulsion for repetition: he had married a woman who said the vilest comments imaginable and who used her tongue to slice away any esteem or self-respect he had.

 

She was emotionally-unavailable and her facial expression when angry sent a message that she hoped he would die. Her moods were unstable and what she loved on Monday she could hate on Friday.

 

He had read these writings about the power of programming, but he had never related to them in the least until an exchange of e-mails finally revealed that he had found someone to assume the familiar role of his father and to continue the abuse that he had been programmed to believe was “normal” and “deserved.”

 

He married a female-version of his abusive father and got the same abuse in that relationship that he received as a child with his dad.

 

Programming can make the desire to find that which is “familiar” a goal, no matter how unnatural the familiar might have been or continues to be.

 

An unbelievably painful “then” typically becomes a similarly painful “now,” but persons have no ability to break the cycle as long as they wander through their existence in the sleep state: unawake, unaware, unconsious.

 

That is the typical state of persons, whether in bed or driving or at work. Like the male described above and the many other men just like him, the teachings have offered insight to certain women as well.

 

Some few of them have seen that the power of their programming influenced them to choose men who would replace the male or female abusers from their childhoods.

 

Sometimes the abuse was physical, sometimes sexual, sometimes mental, or sometimes emotional, but always the programming and programming were driving the compulsion to repeat the earlier, familiar experiences.

 

Programming traps persons into roles and prevent their shifting away from the confines of their warped personalities and all the suffering that results. 

 

Most will never want to be free because they are living the prison-type life that all the other persons around them are living - a type of life that is said to be “normal” in this world. Few will ever cross the path of a “realized non-dualist,” but the typical human beings who do will dismiss the words. Why?

Because no non-dual teachings are offered for typical humans beings. Their ability to see anything beyond their limited identification with a body is negligible.

 

These postings are meant for those who have tired of the drama, gotten an inkling that all they’ve ever been told is fiction, are beginning to see that their past programming has them trapped in various false identities, and are now ready to begin questioning it all in order to re-purify the consciousness.

 

They are seeing that the words of the poet Lovelace, that “stone walls do not a prison make, nor iron bars a cage” are true. Only when persons begin to understand that the “mind” is the prison (because it is a conglomeration of ideas and beliefs and dogma and attitudes and learned ignorance that drives persons and makes them powerless) only then will they be ready for the non-dual message.

 

Only then will they abandon the search for “peace of mind” and focus all effort on being “free of mind,” period. Eventually, if all seven steps to reality are taken, then all concentrated effort will end and spontaneous living will happen.

Yet it is only when the consciousness is pure - when no personality or individuality remains - that spontaneous living happens. And only when spontaneous living is happening can complete freedom truly manifest.

 

Prisoners haven’t a shred of spontaneity in their lives. Persons in this culture who think they are free and are tapping into a power are not free or powerful at all if they are not living spontaneously.

 

And persons are not living spontaneously if they are “here” each day of the week at this time, are “there” each day at that time, and can be found on one particular day of the week at the same location, week in and week out.

 

They, instead, are living in the kind of rut that robs persons of all joy and bliss even as they are claiming that it is their routine which gives them joy and bliss.

 

Look into their eyes while in their assigned places, saying their routine sayings and hearing the routine sayings, and see that spontaneity has gone and that death-in-life has come.

 

Only those who are truly free can live spontaneously. What are you depending on? Do you really believe that you can be free as long as you are depending on anything?

 

Would you be willing to look objectively at all your dependencies and see exactly what freedom is actually being lost as a result of dependence?

 

What about the dependencies you’ve given up but then substituted other dependencies for? Are you willing to evaluate those dependencies and their toll as well?

 

On 24 March 2015, moments after it reached its multi-mile high cruising altitude, Germanwings Flight 9525 began a descent which within minutes would result in it crashing into the side of a mountain and killing all 144 passengers and 6 crew members on board. Why?

 

Because co-pilot Andreas Lubitz (who had previously been treated for depression and suicidal tendencies and who was suffering from major personality disorders and neuroses and psychoses and who had been declared “unfit to work” by a doctor) was nevertheless at the controls of the plane.

 

Lubitz programmed the auto-pilot feature of the aircraft to descend, turned control of the plane over to that auto-pilot, and then sat back and let the auto-pilot feature determine everything that happened with that plane from that moment forward.

 

What does that have to do with the topic presently being discussed? A great deal, because what happened with that plane is what happens to every person on the planet:

 

All persons on this planet begin their “journey” with someone else in charge, be it a parent, parents, or persons assuming the parent role; be it other family members or friends or neighbors;

 

be it someone associated with a religious institution (that being the case with 97% of all persons on the planet); be it a teacher or politician or community leader or business leader; be it a lover or spouse, ad infinitum. 

 

Those persons were in charge and at the controls; they are the ones who set the programming features in place for every child; and it is that programming - along with conditioning and acculturation and domestication and brainwashing and indoctrination - which will determine everything that the vehicle (the composite unity) does throughout the relative existence.

 

Co-pilot Lubitz’s programming etc. was so insane that it resulted in a lifetime of insane thoughts and words and actions, so his actions with the programming of the plane’s flight controls were equally insane and guaranteed that an insane fate would be shared with all those around him. 

 

He - like billions of person on this planet - was set up early on for a descent, a descent that took him into the darkest levels of the “ignorance and stupidity and insanity” which Maharaj said marks and mars the lives of those trapped in the Ultimate Sickness;

 

which led to misery and suffering and depression and suicidal tendencies; and which is a metaphor for the way that the lives of the “non-realized” masses unfold.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
