MARY’S STORY, Part Four

Yesterday’s post ended with this: ended with this:

Those persons who are suffering from the blocked or corrupted consciousness . . . they are also “Mary.” Once the illusion of personality is able to determine the thoughts and words and actions of a person, that person is just as much a “goner” as Mary. Once mirages control a person’s behavior, that person is as far “gone” as Mary. 

Yes, the homeless and the incarcerated and the institutionalized can be judged “insane” by the masses who are walking about unimpeded, but to be given a glimpse of 

(a) not only the insanity that is observable in public on a daily basis 

but also of 

(b) the insanity that is being displayed behind closed doors, it should be seen that there is not one mentally and emotionally Mary; instead, there are millions and billions of “Mary’s” around the globe. 

What insane nonsense do they believe?

A virgin was impregnated by angels sent from a god in another world, and she had a baby, and it was both god’s son and her son but she was still a virgin afterwards? Okay. A whale swallowed a man for three days and he lived? Okay. 

There is a god who loves everyone unconditionally, but one time he did drown everyone on the planet except for the members of one family? Okay. There is a god that wants me to kill everyone who is not a member of my religion? Okay. I will go to heaven if I strap on a suicide bomb vest and blow up a busload of people? Okay. 

If a woman is legitimately raped, her body will not allow her to be impregnated? Really? If a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, god wanted that to happen? Really? The earth is only 6000 years old? Really? 

You say it is “those non-heterosexual people” who are going to destroy the sanctity of marriage although the divorce rate among heterosexuals has long been 50-60% at any given time? Time to call BS on all of their nonsense. 

And people who know about Mary’s circumstances think she - and the ones like her who are also locked away - are the only truly crazy people on the planet? 

George Bernard Shaw was once asked if he thought there was life on other planets. His reply: “I know for a fact there is. They are using earth as their insane asylum.” To paraphrase him on another occasion, nations around the globe are nothing more than open-air asylums where the insane are allowed to walk about freely. 

Thus Maharaj said that he was offering the pointers that he offered to try to address the widespread “ignorance” and “stupidity, verging on insanity” that is so commonplace among the billions of non-realized, personality-driven persons on the planet. 

And where is belief in those personalities stored? In “the mind,” of course. 

Next, the discussion will turn to what Mary and the realized have in common, at what Mary and the non-realized have in common, and at what Mary and the non-realized do not have in common with the realized.

Another parallel between Mary and the masses also exists. Her first psychiatrist, the man who admitted her to the hospital many decades ago, told me back then that “Mary chose to leave this world and to go - mentally - to another that was not as disagreeable.” 

He totally ignored the reply to that claim: “Since her initial problems were rooted in personality - and because personality removes all ability to choose - then isn’t it true that she could not have possibly made a conscious choice to ‘go there’?” 

When personality subconsciously determines thoughts and words and actions, where is there room for a choice when being driven by the agenda of one or more personalities, especially when the agendas of personalities are always hidden (even from the one assuming any given persona as an identity)? Mary did not “choose” madness. No one on the planet has ever chosen madness. 

The sanity of the blank tablet, no-mind, pre-programming, pre-conditioning, pre-acculturation, pre-domestication, pre-indoctrination, pre-brainwashing state is displaced by personality assignment, the development of multiple personalities with multiple and opposing agendas, and by the resultant personality disorders (aggravated into neuroses and psychoses);

thus, sanity is not willingly forfeited, and the madness which replaces sanity is not willingly selected. 

The same is true with the non-realized masses: they - like Mary - did not choose to be lulled into the state of somnambulism that results in their walking about in their sleep. But at least Mary is not like the non-realized masses who spend all day talking in their sleep as well.

In fact, some people would prefer the company of Mary who does not talk . . . having not spoken a word in nearly four decades. 

Some would prefer that quietness to the racket caused by those suffering from one of the other symptoms of the Ultimate Sickness in addition to somnambulism, namely, somniloquy (or, talking in one’s sleep). 

Many might actually appreciate some silence for a change rather than the incessant talking and blathering about self. 

A woman shared what happened when an acquaintance from out-of-state “wanted to come by for a cup of coffee.” (That proved to be a lie. She really wanted to come by for a captive audience.)

During her 45-minute visit, she began by asking one question about the person she was visiting. The remaining 42 minutes were spent with the visitor entering into a perpetual monologue about herself / her self / her selves. 

Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk. Self-focused, self-centered, self-absorbed, self-indulgent, self-interested, self-willed talk. Give me Mary any day.

But a more significant point about Mary’s condition is this: it is also the same condition of the many persons who claim that they have been liberated and are now so fully enlightened and so fully realized that they are “THAT alone,” having transcended the relative existence completely. 

Being in touch with Reality (THAT) but not in touch with reality (the temporary AM-ness) puts them in the same boat as Mary; in fact, they ARE Mary and they ARE suffering from her very condition.

Consider: 

A. What are twenty things that the realized - in a certain fashion - have in common with Mary?

1. both prefer silence

2. neither has a pressing need to talk

3. both merely witness

4. both accept the solitude

5. both tap in to the original void . . . the original nothingness

6. both seemingly tap only into the inner resource now

7. neither taps into any outer resource

8. neither is concerned with any external lexus of power or Power

9. neither has an interest in winning arguments, in fighting, in declaring war, in harming others, or in the type of “shock and awe” behaviors that sociopaths prefer

10. neither has any notion of being better-than or higher up on a hierarchy

11. neither is involved in a culture’s predilection for going-doing-zooming

12. neither is trying to create and sustain an image

13. both have been freed of the “committee meeting” that had previously gone on in their minds (so the chatter of a thousand monkeys between their ears has also come to an end)

14. with both, there is no going into and out of samadhi . . . that is now a fixed state

15. with both, there is an unwavering constancy and consistency 

16. neither is seeking control any longer

17. neither is judging anything as being good or bad

18. neither is working 24 / 7 any longer to try to get the love not received during childhood from emotionally-unavailable parents

19. neither has a pressing need to be heard

20. neither is trying to show off how much knowledge has been accumulated

Next: What do the non-realized have in common with Mary and what do those claiming to be abiding as “THAT only” have in common with Mary and how do the fully realized differ from Mary?

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
