Let’s pause to consider: Just as the wise understand that thoughts lead to words and words leader to actions, so too do the wise understand that when an ego-state – a false “I-state” is assumed as being real, then that leads to a triggering of the mind’s use of ego-defense mechanisms which leads to persons being driven by egotism.

Additionally, once egotism is the subconscious driver of a person’s thoughts and words and actions, then the manifestation of  arrogance  and conceit lead to a sense of “different-from ment” and a sense of superiority which leads to a belief in better-than-ment.”

Moreover, all of that downgrading “the other,” that is, those who appear to be “different from” the “us” in the “us vs. them.” And in the “us vs. them” duality-based belief system, the “us” is always upgraded since egotism becomes the driving force once ego-states / “I-states” / “me-states” / false identifications are assumed as identities.

Such upgrading is the scenario which follows the acceptance of the belief in assigned or assumed ego-states. Then, “The Wife” soon perceives herself as “The Super Wife” and “The Husband” soon perceives himself as “The Super Husband.”

Thereafter, any chance to have a “healthy relationship” will end because all that “The Wife” needs to exist in her mind is “A Husband,” but “The Super Wife” needs a “Super Husband” to exist. The same upgrading happens with “The Husband,” and there is no roof on the planet which is large enough to provide shelter for two personas which see themselves as “The Superior One.”

When those playing “The Supremacist” role manifest, then there is not enough room for both to co-exist, so the goal becomes the same as those trained in the “Armed Forces” who are indoctrinated to become professional killers, the goal being to “seek out and destroy.”

And all of the parts of that suffering-and-misery-producing chain of events are rooted in personality, in assuming and believing in personality identifications / ego-states / me-states / I-states as being real and true identifiers.

And that is why wise sages for ages have long discussed the subject of this series. Yesterday, someone commented on the fact that over 3,000+ daily visitors have been coming to this site and reading these postings on personality. She said, “You are helping people.”

I demurred. Maharaj made clear that once realized, so will share. Others will retreat into the silence and not come out. Abiding in an AS IF fashion means there is no agenda or planning or “purpose.” All just happens as if on auto-pilot without any anticipation regarding outcomes.  

I reminded her that more than 2000 years ago, Yeshu’a shared what is being shared in this series when he warned of the hazards of ego-state assumption. He said, “I do not come in peace. I come with a sword. I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.” 

Then he made clear where soon-to-be saboteurs hide, saying, “a man’s enemies will be the members of his household.”

Then I asked: Has his addressing the misery and suffering generated by personality identification assumption changed anything? No. 

The assumption of false personality identifications which subconsciously control the thoughts and words and actions of every human abiding under the auspices of false identities has continued throughout the millennia since his warning.

Worried about terrorists? Worried about people with a different skin color, with different sexual preferences, with a different God?” None of those lie in your household. Persons are blind to the real threats that can emerge when they challenge another person’s assumed but false identities.

Some might recall the way that a cartoon character called “Pogo” revealed the truth about misperceptions which are rooted in duality and which are generated by distorted perspectives about who is “good” and who is “bad” . . . about who is “for us” and who is “against us”: 

Yet millions blindly believe the lies being told by their political or religious or business leaders who try to generate fear in order to be able to control the masses; 

therefore, rather than finding out what “the real relative threats are to their ‘safety’,” many unquestioningly accept on blind faith the word of politicians and church leaders and advertisers who have a history of lying. 

Those who have most abused me over the 71 years I’ve walked about on this planet were religious fanatics, but they were not of the “Islamic type.” They were “god-fearing, bible-thumping” persons proclaiming to be “Christians who were also god-like.” 

If the tiger is already in your house, the last thing the wise and sane would do would be to close off all avenues of exit and lock themselves in the house with the tiger. Yet that is what persons are doing. They are fearing those who are outside rather than looking objectively at those who are already inside. 

They are wanting to build walls around themselves to protect themselves though that which they are likely to need protection from are already inside the wall. And what else lives inside walls? Prisoners. 

Persons imprison themselves and imprison others because of fear and arrogance and a sense of different-from-ment and (therefore) supposed better-than-ment. 

In the slum-like neighborhood where I lived as a child, we were separated from the city’s “elite” by fences around their gated communities and by the police who patrolled their neighborhoods but not ours and a host of other sociological barriers involving distance and economic blockades and skin-color-based obstruction, etc. 

Such tribal thinking, which is really just dualistic thinking - has long generated fear of “the others” along with a hatred of those with different skin color, with different religious preferences, with different sexual preferences, with difference economic circumstances, etc.

and have inspired Nazis and neo-Nazi affiliations; a racist belief in white supremacy; a belief in generic superiority as taught by the theory of eugenics; and - of course - a desire for separation and wall-building. 

The effects have long been present and continue to this day. Now some say that “a picture is worth a thousand words.” 

The “realised non-dualist” might say, “Seeing the message in a picture can sometimes save the wasting of one’s breath by assuring that a thousand words need not be said in order to illustrate the prevalence of the duality which comes with the widespread Ultimate Sickness.”

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
