THE REASON THAT “NON-DUALISTS” SHOULD
UNDERSTAND PRIMATE CULTURES ON THE AFRICAN SAVANNAH

“Baboons have about a half dozen solid hours of sunlight a day to devote to being rotten to each other. Just like our society . . . .”
“We live well enough to have the luxury to get ourselves sick with purely social, psychological stress.”
Yesterday, this consideration was offered: So why focus on humanity’s early savannah experiences?
The reply: Because their effects continue even today among every human on the planet.
What happened with the $5000 Skytech Mark 9 computer is a common occurrence: Units which were filled with internal mistakes and defective motherboards and faulty programming were shipped to buyers.
Similar units were sold for $6600 and up to $19000 with similar defects. So common is that the case with many manufacturers that millions in the U.S. are paranoid about buying a new computer at all.
Recall a pointer often offered here:
“What happens on the savannah will happen everywhere else on the globe where humans have clustered together in cultures and societies.”
Why is that a fact? Because just like the computers referenced above, humans were shipped all around the globe with the faulty programming and warped genetic coding, all part of the basic paradigm built into them on the savannah of Africa or the forests or veldts there.
Humans evolved from primates in Africa. As noted, Baboons are close evolutionary relatives to humans, and on average, baboons and humans have a genetic similarity of 94%.
Humans and gorillas have a genetic similarity of 98.3%.
Humans and chimpanzees have 98.6% of their DNA in common.
All three of those species from which humans evolved passed on the same kind of defects which the computer manufacturers referenced above did.
Consider: “Herto man is proof that modern humans (Homo sapiens) lived in Africa at least 160,000 years ago. And they seem to have stayed there for a long time. Though it is unclear when some modern humans first left Africa, evidence shows that these modern humans did not leave Africa until between 60,000 and 90,000 years ago.”
That means that homo sapiens and their ancestors potentially had 100,000 years to have a collection of near limitless defects instilled in them prior to having those defective beings sent around the globe.
“So, some of our early ancestors kept exploring until they spread to all parts of earth. How far and fast they went depended on climate, the pressures of population, and the invention of boats and other technologies.”
And those carriers of the Ultimate Sickness would eventually contaminate the entire planet with the same kind of Darwinian, nightmarish traits which were implanted in all of them on the savannah or in the forests or on the veldts of Africa:

And that and more is what humans spread around the globe: meanness; duality-based hierarchies; being predatory; engaging in territorial madness; raging; attacking; driven by a duality-based “this is mine” social structure; and basically being rotten to others, especially coming from those at top of any given hierarchy.
The call for finding and using an effective version of the Ultimate Medicine lies in what has been shown in this series:
All spaces which have specks of consciousness stored within the millions of spaces which are members of one of the millions of social groups around the globe are themselves the viruses which fester and grown into full-blown cases of the Ultimate Sickness.
The viruses as noted are Darwinian:
All things mutate and evolve and all living things can trace their descent to a common “ancestor.”
Organisms are capable of - and driven to - producing more offspring than their environments can support; thus, there is competition for limited resources in each generation. The stage for conflict is inherent.
There will be predators and prey and hunters and the hunted, all setting the stage for more conflict.
The normalization of the host / parasite paradigm sets the stage for hierarchies to be formed in all social groups as that pattern of the users and the used become commonplace Moreover, those parings above all lend credibility of the false but widely-accepted belief in duality.
The Darwinian model is discussed by Johnson and Toft in their book, Grounds for War: The Evolution of Territorial Conflict.
After moving from Austria to Germany, Hitler found a message that reverberated with the Aryan masses. He advised them that the lands taken from them in the Treaty of Versailles made them victims. A similar message regarding victimization worked for a candidate for U.S. President in 2016.
Hitler explained that the German people needed Lebensraum, “living space,” and that became “a critical component in the Nazi worldview that drove both its military conquests and racial policy.”
“We need space.”
“How much?”
“ALL OF IT!”
The model of the savannah was applied and then justification for invading other nations and taking their territory was set forth.
(See what the Europeans did regarding the killing of 150,000,000 indigenous people in what is today called Canada, the U.S., Central America, and South America. See how the Brits ended up controlling 25% of the populated land masses during their age of colonization. The tale has been repeated over and over.)
In Grounds for War, Johnson and Toft note that “the world map reveals at least one iron law of global politics: human territoriality. Almost every inch of the globe is partitioned into exclusive and bounded spaces that “belong” to specific groups of humans (“belong” being a concept rooted in duality).
“Throughout history, territory has led to recurrent and severe conflict. States are prepared to go to war, and individuals are prepared to die, even over land with little intrinsic value.
“While such behavior presents a puzzle for international relations theory, a broader evolutionary perspective reveals that territorial behavior has the following three characteristics:
(1) it is common across the animal kingdom, suggesting a convergent solution to a common strategic problem;
(2) it is a dominant strategy in the “hawk-dove” game of evolutionary game theory (under certain well-defined conditions); and
(3) it follows a strategic logic, but one calibrated to cost-benefit ratios that prevailed in our evolutionary past, not those of the present.”
Regarding “The Evolutionary Science Behind Territorial Conflict,” the authors note:
“Throughout history, the defense of or desire for territory has led to recurrent and severe conflict. States are prepared to fight, and individuals to die, even over land with little intrinsic value. Depending on the method of measurement, statistical studies show that territorial disputes account for one-quarter to three-quarters of all wars. Moreover, explicitly territorial disputes are more likely to lead to war than other types of dispute, more likely to lead to recurrent conflict, and more likely to result in high fatalities if war occurs. Areas regarded as “homeland” are particularly volatile and violently contested.
[And, as we have seen, call the land “Holy” and have three groups who believe that the land is “Holy,” then they can fight for millennia over that land, even though they all claim that their religions are rooted in “the One God of Abraham.”]
“When territory holds resources or offers a strategic location, conflict can be perfectly rational. In many territorial conflicts, however, material benefits are absent, and even where they are present, the sensitivity and severity of conflict are so great that territorial aggression poses a significant puzzle in search of an explanation, and an important problem in search of policy innovations.”
Recurrent patterns of territoriality in nature
“Territorial behaviour is puzzling only if we ignore the context in which it has evolved. From an evolutionary perspective, territoriality is not puzzling, and in fact shows recurrent patterns and common strategies that transcend species and context. Territorial behaviour is prevalent not only among humans, but across the animal kingdom. It has evolved independently across a broad array of taxonomic groups and ecological contexts.”
Territory dominates past and present conflict.
“Throughout history, and as reflected in today’s most sensitive flash points - such as Jerusalem, Kashmir, the South China Sea - most wars have centered on the conquest, defense, or control of territory. Conflict over territory is unsurprising when it contains material or strategic resources. However, the pervasiveness and severity of territorial aggression remains puzzling, particularly when actors fight over land devoid of material or strategic value.
Recurrent patterns of territoriality in nature.
“Territorial behavior - territoriality - is not unique to humans. It is widespread across the animal kingdom, and scientific research reveals recurrent behavioral patterns that transcend species and context, notably:
(1) territorial incumbents tend to win, even against stronger opponents;
(2) aggression tends to be the dominant strategy, even when fighting is costly; and
(3) territorial behaviour varies with the degree of harm combatants can inflict, the value attached to a territory, and the costs of finding alternative territory.
Then certain people (offering valid non-duality pointers) come along and suggest that an appreciation for the original commonality / the Oneness might reduce suffering and misery and war. Ages of conflict driven by duality-justified territorial acquisition makes the sharing of that non-dual message far from palatable for the masses.
What is the likelihood that such understanding ever manifesting among humans? Almost nil. When Maharaj was originally asked “How many people do you suppose will ever get this?” his guesstimate was “one out of a 100,000.” Later, he revised the guesstimate to “one out a million: eventually, he altered his guess to “one out of ten million.”
One might as well ask, “How many baboons, apes, and gorillas do you suppose will ever get this?”
The odds are stacked against any efforts by those speaking of peace or unity or light or love for their pointers to take hold. Often, in fact, the masses prefer to kill the messenger.
Some might say, “So it is in the land of humans.” They have no clue that humans have turned all of the land on the planet into the land of the foolish and chaotic and mean-ass baboons, chimps, and apes.
