A REVIEW AND SUMMATION OF THE KEY UNDERSTANDINGS WHICH CAME VIA THE VISION AND WHICH WERE REQUIRED FOR FULL REALIZATION
To continue with the discussion of not only how to realize but also what to realize as well:
186. Via the vision came the end of identity: via the unblocked consciousness - which allowed both an awareness of awareness to manifest and which allowed awareness to be aware of itself and its / "Your Original Nature" - the illusions of ego and personality were seen to dissolve.
Other clarifications that came via the vision follow.
187. The vision showed that multiplicities of ego-states are taken by persons to make up their so-called "identity."
188. The vision made clear that the egotism-supported illusions of ego and ego-states which foster a sense of separation and "different-from-ment" and "better-than-ment" all ended in the crystal cave when the Oneness was seen clearly.
189. In the vision, what came was a condition of being awake, conscious, and aware - a condition that has not left.
190. With full awareness comes realization and the end of suffering from the effects of the programming and conditioning and all of the other blockages that prevent the consciousness from witnessing purely and seeing reality during the relative existence and seeing Reality, period.
191. The vision showed that the movement along the "path" ended belief in any of the former, "bad" roles that had been assumed and played as well as an end to the newer, "good" religious and spiritual roles that had been assumed and played (as the raven's dissolution illustrated).
192. It showed that the final role to go at the end of the vision was "The Seeker" because an understanding of the functioning of the totality manifest, allowing all seeking to end.
193. Thus came an end to the assumption of any and all false identities and an end to the beliefs and ideas that accompany them.
194. It was shown that, as the assumption of any and all false identities ends, those trapped in the step-three-of-seven personas of the "religious person" or the "spiritual person" can finally break free of those ego-states as they stop identifying with a super power, can take the remaining steps on the "journey" to full realization, and can live an AS IF-style life of authenticity as a result of the understanding that comes via being free of beliefs and being awake, aware, and conscious.
195. Only then can misery end and only then can peace / bliss / happiness / contentment / satisfaction begin.
So there you have it.
After years of searching in vain; after finally crossing paths with that speck of consciousness called Maharaj and after years of reading transcripts of his talks and still not "getting it" since he never laid out in order the steps he alluded to because his pointers always focused only on the next step to be taken by the specific seeker to whom he was speaking;
after finally seeing the exact order in which the "coming in steps" occurred; after seeing the exact order in which the "going back steps" had to occur; and after seeing the exact order in which the "returning steps" occur,
After years of searching in vain; after finally crossing paths with that speck of consciousness called Maharaj and after years of reading transcripts of his talks and still not "getting it" since he never laid out in order the steps he alluded to because his pointers always focused only on the next step to be taken by the specific seeker to whom he was speaking;
after finally seeing the exact order in which the "coming in steps" occurred; after seeing the exact order in which the "going back steps" had to occur; and after seeing the exact order in which the "returning steps" occur,
then only did the understanding come of
- how the manifesting consciousness becomes blocked or bastardized in every person;
- how most will have the Ultimate Sickness passed down to them and will go through the entire relative existence while suffering the symptoms of that sickness which Maharaj identified as "ignorance, stupidity, and insanity";
and
- how the few that are willing to question everything which they have ever been told can cast it all aside and can be freed from those symptoms and thereby no longer driven by the collection of nonsense which is stored in almost all minds;
- can grasp the full meaning Maharaj's pointer that
"Wisdom is knowing that I am nothing" while "Love is knowing that I am everything";
and
- can, as a result, abide in the peace which only comes when freed from the influence of the ego-states and egotism which foster a false sense of "different-from-ment"; from a false sense of "better-than-ment"; from a false sense of "separation"; from prejudice and arrogance and discrimination as well as baseless anger and hatred and
chauvinism;
from xenophobia; misogyny; bigotry; intolerance; and injustice; and from misconceptions along with a sense of superiority based in nothing more than unfounded conceit in regards to one's genes or skin color or social class or economic class alongside a host of distortions and delusions.
In certain cultures throughout history there has been a predominance of persons living under the influence of the ego-states and egotism which foster a false sense of "different-from-ment"; a false sense of "better-than-ment"; a false sense of "separation"; prejudice and arrogance and discrimination as well as baseless anger and hatred and chauvinism;
xenophobia; misogyny; bigotry; intolerance; injustice;
and misconceptions along with a sense of superiority based in nothing more
than unfounded conceit in regards to one's genes or skin color or social
class or economic class alongside a host of distortions and delusions.
Some of the most extreme examples of those traits in modern times in the West have been observable among the populations of Aryan, White-Anglo-Saxon nations such as Germany, Great Britain, and the U.S. which have long been involved in efforts to build empires and / or attain global influence and control.
There was a time when the British Empire was the largest that the planet has ever known, controlling 24% of the land masses and 23% of the planet's population. Hell, even today, the British government claims control over the Falkland Islands which are 8,002 miles away from Great Britain.
In Germany, the people welcomed an Austrian right-wing fascist who dreamed of creating a Germanic Empire that would "rule the entire globe for 1000 years," and the majority there never stood up to him even as he first began killing certain citizens of their nation and after he would later begin killing the citizens of other nations.
Their tolerance of his xenophobic, white nationalistic agenda led to a World War in which the lives of some 80,000,000 persons would end.
The U.S. has tried to spread its control of others globally as well. The U.S. traveled 8,568 miles to the west to invade and occupy Vietnam; traveled 7,108 miles to the east to invade and occupy the Middle East; and traveled over 3,000 miles to the south to invade and occupy nations in Central and South America.
And today, in the U.S., the same kind of leadership has emerged which has been welcomed and is functioning without challenge from the majority of citizens and is operating with the same kind of full impunity as happened in Germany in the 1930's, including the exact same kind of white nationalism and white supremacy and a preference for only things Anglo-Saxon (right down to Neo-Nazis who are now marching through the streets of the U.S.)
Today the examples of the past are being ignored, examples which should make clear what the likely consequences are of tolerating those who allow the influence of ego-states and egotism to foster a false sense of "different-from-ment"; a false sense of "better-than-ment"; a false sense of "separation"; prejudice and arrogance and discrimination; baseless anger and hatred and chauvinism;
xenophobia; misogyny; bigotry; intolerance; and injustice; and misconceptions along with a sense of superiority based in nothing more
than unfounded conceit in regards to one's genes or skin color or social
class or economic class alongside a host of distortions and delusions.
So it is when persons are driven by a sense of duality rather than by a sense of the non-dual oneness, and Maharaj made clear that the ratio of those that grasp the truth of non-duality to those preferring a sense of separation and superiority and conflict and control are present is less than a 1 : 99 ratio.
In many nations nowadays, including the U.S., the masses are being whipped up into a state of frenzied emotional intoxication and are being inspired not to unite but to separate themselves along racial, religious, political, economic, and yes, even supposedly "genetic" lines.

Then, before fading into the perfect peace of rest in the Totality, Your last consciousness is of the process that had moved That Which You Are from the rest state in the Absolute, past the non-being and into being, and then into whatever that True Self was. You see how you came to witness, how the learned ignorance corrupted the pure consciousness of the child state, how spiritual and religious roles were assigned, how mental identities were accumulated, and how dominated the existence was by the physical body's fears and desires. You KNOW. And then, even that dissolves. THAT is all there is.
Therefore, the wise will see that the non-dual teachings are not an end unto themselves - as some have made them - but are a tool to be used to break the mental chains which bind the members of the non-realized masses.
If those chains are broken, then persons can move from away from the bondage of prejudice and arrogance and discrimination; from baseless anger and hatred and chauvinism; from xenophobia; from misogyny; from bigotry; from intolerance; from injustice; and from misconceptions along with a sense of superiority.
If those chains are broken, then persons can move from away from the bondage of prejudice and arrogance and discrimination; from baseless anger and hatred and chauvinism; from xenophobia; from misogyny; from bigotry; from intolerance; from injustice; and from misconceptions along with a sense of superiority.
And if those chains are broken, then persons can move from away from the bondage of "ignorance," away from the bondage of "stupidity," and away from the bondage of "insanity,"
just as recommended by such realized sages over the centuries as . . .
Shakespeare, Thoreau, Gandhi, Maharaj, King, Jr., Mandela and a few others that have spoken with the clarity which comes via the pure universal consciousness which connects those manifested temporarily with an awareness of awareness.
What are the odds of that happening on a wide basis? Very low, per Maharaj. And very low if one observes the way that in the U.S. and Britain and some other European nations, the rate of hate-based crimes is increasing as leaders are modeling not a "peacemaker attitude" but a "warrior attitude" which their sheep-like followers are adopting.
How extreme is the "spillover" in the U.S.? I have never before sensed in my 72 years such a prevalent sense of angst and anger and even hostility among the masses which is reaching into every aspect of life in this culture.
Hell's bells, when one fast food restaurant introduced a new spicy chicken sandwich to rave reviews, fist fights broke out at the chain as people fought to get the spice fix they wanted; eventually, the assaults became more extreme as food trays were tossed at the heads of fellows customers and workers;
cars were damaged as persons tried to cut ahead in the auto queues at the to-go windows; gunshots have rung out; this week there was a stabbing in a fight over a sandwich; and yesterday a woman was picked up and body-slammed to the ground and suffered six broken ribs, a broken knee, and a variety of other injuries as well, all over a freakin' sandwich.
Yet of course it's about far more than the sandwiches, isn't it?
It's about the leadership at the top who are proselytizing for chaos, inspiring hatred, generating anger, and justifying the abuse of "others" while whining that they are the victims.
It's about the current programming, conditioning, etc.
It's about the widespread "ignorance, stupidity and insanity" which Maharaj spoke of.
Is it any wonder that his final guesstimate regarding how many will ever reach a state of understanding non-duality and the unicity and the oneness was - at most - 1 out of 10,000,000?
Hence, the task is for each seeker to follow the advice, "Physician, heal thyself."
The understanding which can come via the vision can allow persons who are caught up in the swirling chaos of the storm to step into the eye where the calm is.
In this neighborhood, I witness the deer at times doing what Maharaj said they do, namely, "Resting in the cool blue shade" even as they lie back and witness with detachment the human-generated chaos surrounding them.
The deer are abiding naturally.
The humans think they are abiding supernaturally (religiously, spiritually, etc.) or refuse to see that they are abiding unnaturally.
The options should not be clearer for those that are seeking, and the only sane option should be clear as well.

THE EXPLANATION
If
looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total
waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are
resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they
are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning?
There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept
of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa
Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in
close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and
glorify and give thanks to."
The
reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god
that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're
dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with
narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism
evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next,
in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had
her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part
of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the
"loving and caring" part.
"That
is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not
an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or
anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to
want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the
'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and
caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love
and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and earth shall fade away."
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and hell are not geographic places
but are states of mind, nothing more than
concepts dreamed up by men."
--Pope John Paul II
"There is no hell."
--Pope Francis, the current pope
in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,
a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record
teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.
[That
said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core
concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional
courage required to question the very existence of their institution in
light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children
and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of
billions of their members past and present.
And
that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about
why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to
continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and
conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will
they? Not likely. Why?
Because
what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the
international crime families which hold sway over the masses as
criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major
international crime families and which are the most influential and have
the largest memberships?
The
Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion
followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while
laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank);
Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers)
like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and
sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created
environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies
like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)
With
all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership
ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be
they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business,
politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and
they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the
driving forces at play.
The
masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their
groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem
because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the
people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the
masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved
with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the
continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate
the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types
of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
