TODAY'S CONSIDERATIONS

A REVIEW AND SUMMATION OF THE KEY UNDERSTANDINGS WHICH CAME VIA THE VISION AND WHICH WERE REQUIRED FOR FULL REALIZATION

120. So the question came, "Has the 'proper path' finally been entered upon, or not?" 

121. Then after reading all of the talks available by Maharaj, there were other comments about spirituality that seemed to offer even more contradictions regarding this matter: 

He said, “Whatever you have tried to understand during your spiritual search will prove false” 

 and 

“When the birth is disproved, the great noble meaning of spirituality and the meaning of this world — everything — is disproved” 

and 

“I have no faith in anything which has ever been told, not even what has been told by the Vedas. Only my own experience" 

 and 

"Whatever you think of as 'spiritual knowledge' was gained in the realm of consciousness; such knowledge is merely a burden upon your head and it is going to add more misery. It is nothing more than spiritual jargon" 

and 

"There is no such thing as spirituality; whatever is, is only this worldly life, in the five-elemental play" 

and 

"Those who have apperceived my knowledge will not fall a prey to the logic or spirituality expounded by others" 

and 

"Forget spirituality" 

and 

"Follow your 'normal inclinations'" 

and 

"Just give up spirituality" 

and 

"Spiritual knowledge should not be studied." 

[All of that counsel came after he had tried to use religion and spirituality to address the Ultimate Sickness but came to understood that the Sickness is a mental sickness, not a "spiritual malady" and not a "too-little-dogma sickness."]

122. Suddenly, all of the confusion ended when his comments were viewed in light of what the vision showed, namely, that all religious and spiritual role-assumption and role-playing must end at the third step in order to complete the remaining steps on the "journey" to full realization. 

Then, these other pointers from Maharaj regarding the transitioning of all spiritual-and-religious-role-playing at the third step made perfect sense: 

"Whatever you think of as spiritual knowledge was gained in the realm of consciousness; such knowledge is merely a burden upon your head and it is going to add more misery. It is nothing more than spiritual jargon. All your spiritual studies are conducted with your identification with the body-mind" 

and 

"Subsequent to that 'I Am' and body-mind, and in the realm of the mind, there occurs what you call 'spiritual seeking', or 'spiritual knowledge'. This is nonsense" 

and 

"I appeal to you with my folded hands: don't get into this spirituality" 

and 

"The sum total of my spirituality now is nothing, even that word 'nothing' is not there, so there is no spirituality left" 

and 

"Just live your life as it comes, but alertly, watchfully, allowing everything to happen as it happens, doing the natural things the natural way, suffering, rejoicing - as life brings. What needs be done is being done, in the normal and natural way" 

 and 

To another he pointed out: "In the course of your study of spirituality, you have acquired many concepts and you call that 'knowledge'." 

He advised that visitor to "throw out your concepts." 

123. It became clear

(a) why so many playing religious roles or assuming spiritual roles develop the Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder and thereafter

(b) continue to suffer what Maharaj called their "misery." Why?

For one, because they might have taken one job to cover the costs of basic needs and then enjoyed "just living" but then they became driven by the agendas of their "good personas" (such as "The Super Religious One," "The Spiritual Giant," and / or "The Super Seeker");

as a result, they take on a second job which involves more and more work as they add on "spiritual exercises" and "spiritual work" or "religious services" or "SELF-interest" or the obligations imposed by "their program" and being required to constantly attend "their spiritual meetings" or "even more of their religion's formal services" and thereby turn their lives into a two-job existence or a three-job existence or a four-job existence or more.

(That is exactly what happened here prior to receiving the vision's message regarding "the good" third step roles which must be transitioned in order to put an end to a multiple-personas-driven life which was dominated by religious workaholism or spiritual workaholism or a go-do-zoom mentality which blocked any chance to relax and to take it easy and to abide naturally as Maharaj said, "as do the deer," pausing to "rest in the cool blue shade.")

124. It was seen why Maharaj eventually called for the abandonment of all spiritual role-playing and encouraged natural / nisarga-only-living instead, abandoning the dictates of "religion" or "spirituality" or one's "special program" - all of which foster dependency and therefore assure that persons cannot be independent and free.

(And who that is not totally free can truly be content . . . can truly and consistently avoid the "misery" Maharaj referenced?) 

125. Additionally, the vision made clear that all - even including the intellect - is annihilated eventually. It became clear why Maharaj said, "This is the place where the intellect gets annihilated."

That is, by the end of the "path," the intellect (the purpose of which was to provide "the capacity to understand") is also forfeited . . . no longer needed. So much for "jnana yoga" and the role of "The Knower" (who eventually self-upgrades that - and all other roles - and takes himself / herself to be "The Super Knower"). 

Here, it is the Nisarga Yoga that is used in conjunction with the Direct Path Teaching Method in order to allow seekers to realize and then abide naturally and simply without making a second job out of just living. 

126. The vision made clear that nothing known or learned is given any value post-realization; instead, all happens naturally, as is the case with the deer which, like the realized, have no need for learned knowledge or for intellect. They, like "the realized Nisargan," abide naturally (which means "in a mindless, mind-free manner . . . abiding naturally and spontaneously"). 

127. Next, the vision made clear the delusion involved with a belief in continuity. One property of consciousness when it manifests is that it automatically desires continuity. As Andy Gugar, Jr. pointed out, the old saying is that "everyone wants to go to heaven, but no one wants to die"). 

128. Consider the confusion, then, among the masses who are plagued with a desire to live forever that is coupled with a fear of "death" while at the same time working for an eternal reward that might guarantee the consciousness-based desire to exist forever while simultaneously strapped with the potential of eternal punishment rather than reward. 

 129. "Will it be heaven forever, or hell forever?" or "Will it be reincarnation, but in a lesser, lower form?" or "Which way will I be evolving through a series of births and rebirths - up or down?" 

130. The desire for continuity leads to bogus concepts such as "eternal life" and "heaven" and "hell" and "eternal rewards vs. eternal punishments" or "multiple births and rebirths." 

131. Though early on a gave a tip of his hat to such concepts as "karma" and "reincarnation" he would eventually discard those concepts as well. It was at that point when Maharaj pointed out that you were not even born once, so how could you possibly be born again? 

 132. The vision made clear Maharaj's pointer that all will be annihilated (with the exception of the energy-matter). 

133. The clarity came: it is that which is involved in the cycling of things that come together - and that will always eventually come apart - which will be "annihilated." 

134. That includes human bodies, it includes the human "mind," and it includes the roles played by bodies with minds which assume that false identities are real. 

135. The vision showed all of that will come to end, for nothing in the mind is true and nothing about assumed roles is real, and certainly the body is forever cycling air and consciousness and cells until - at some point - that too shall stop for one reason or another. 

136. Yet who is ready to accept that fact willingly? What has been witnessed here leads to the answer, namely, the following:


"Only those that have completed the second leg of the 'journey' to Reality, allowing them to 'go ahead and die now'." 

137. For the masses, that nagging fear of "death" shall remain, for they have not completed "a practice run at 'dying'." 

138. So whenever earth elements and air and specks of conscious-energy come together to form a composite unity - be that composite labeled a bird, a fish, a deer, a human, etc. - that temporarily-manifested "being" knows that it is, knows the beingness, and desires that the beingness never end. 

139. That is why "non-realized persons" want to live as long as they can. 

140. That is why some report that 

(a) "Right now, heaven is available!

and that 

(b) "It is the most wonderful thing imaginable!"

yet end with

(c) "Well, no, I don't want to go there now."

Go figure.

THE EXPLANATION 

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence. 

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to." 

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly"). 

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part. 

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on: 

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within" 

--Yeshu'a (Jesus) 

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away." 

--Yeshu'a (Jesus) 

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places 

but are states of mind, nothing more than 

concepts dreamed up by men." 

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell." 

--Pope Francis, the current pope 

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari, 

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record 

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium. 

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present. 

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why? 

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships? 

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.) 

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play. 

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
