A REVIEW AND SUMMATION OF THE KEY UNDERSTANDINGS WHICH CAME VIA THE VISION AND WHICH WERE REQUIRED FOR FULL REALIZATION

Continued from yesterday when this pointer was offered:

Let's pause to look at the fact that Maharaj discussed the downside of conditioning, and the vision should make clear how the human experience is dominated by ignorance and insanity after humans are exposed to years of ignorant and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination.

Of conditioning, Maharaj said that realization primarily involves (1) "the knowledge of one's conditioning" (as well as one's ignorant and insane programming, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination) and (2) "the awareness that the infinite variety of conditions depends on our infinite ability to be conditioned."

How powerful and insane can conditioning be? Pavlov showed us. One can take a dog which normally only salivates at the smell of meat and can condition that dog to salivate instead at the sound of the bell on a metronome.

Yet no matter how much larger the typical plant food body is in comparison to the content of the mind, that body will never be able to overcome the will of the near-weightless content of a warped, corrupted, lie-believing mind.

That is what humans are up against, and the reasons that they have so little success in overriding the ignorant and insane drivers of their thoughts and words and actions include the following:

1. Egotism. Egotism inspires a set-in-concrete belief system which says, "I'm right and you're wrong"; "I'm good and you're bad"; "My religion's teaching are spot are; your religion's teaching are totally crazy"; etc., etc., etc.

2. Denial. Another set-in-concrete belief system that is commonplace among humans says, "My caca stinketh not; thou poop doth much offend." They ignore the key facts: "If you spot it, you've got it" and "If you can see it, you can be it."

Both egotism and denial were the driving force in the case of the man mentioned yesterday who was able to see the ignorance and insanity of others' religious / spiritual beliefs but who was unable to see the ignorance and insanity of his own religious / spiritual beliefs.

A second example of those forces at work was witnessed here last week:

A man said, "So I heard you had a wife who claimed to be super religious and was employed as a staff member in several difference churches but who told you that she had gone to the chancel in her church and knelled and prayed every day for a year for God to kill you."

F.: "Indeed."

He: "Oh my gosh. I'm very religious and I would be too afraid to even think such a thought. There's got to be a special place in hell for anyone claiming to be a Christian but who can do something that evil."

Then he added, "Please tell me she's not a Catholic."

F.: "She's not a Catholic. Her religious affiliation varied at any given time, depending on which church was willing to pay her money to work for them. She was a Lutheran, then became a Methodist, then became a Presbyterian. But I suppose you're saying 'Please tell me she's not a Catholic' means that you are a Catholic and don't want to believe that anyone in your denomination could be so cold-blooded as that?"

He: "Exactly."

F.: "Hummm. So correct me if I'm wrong but it seems like I've heard something about the Catholic Church having a problem with priests involved in misconduct with children. Is that right?"

His mouth fell open as I could tell his mind had ginned up response #1 but rejected that, came up with response #2 and abandoned that, and then just remained silent.

He immediately recalled something he had to take care of elsewhere and hastily disappeared. 

(I suspect he might have been thinking as he drove away, "Hell, now I see exactly why his EX prayed for God to kill that guy.")

See? The relevant pointer here is, "Blind faith blinds, no matter which faith one is identified with or which faith one is unquestioningly loyal to."

There is no difference at all in the warped thinking process being used by the man in yesterday's  example and the man in today's example. both having been subjected to years of the same kind of ignorant and insane programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination which has left both with a tendency to be judgmental and critical of those involved with any religion other than their own (meaning, in almost every case, the one that their parents chose for them).

1.The presence of egotism was plain to see:  "I'm good and she's bad"; "My religion's teaching are spot are; hers are obviously totally crazy."

and

2. The presence of denial was also plain to see: "Catholics' caca stinketh not; the poop of Lutherans, Methodists, and Presbyterians obviously doth much offend."

So this kind of warped thinking can follow:

"Trying to contract God to become one's personal hitman? Really, really bad. Supporting an institution which condones and covers up child rape and child abuse? Not so bad in light of the overall greater good being done."

Again, Maharaj said that the Ultimate Sickness guarantees that the thoughts and words and deeds and beliefs of "non-realized persons" will be subconsciously controlled by "ignorance, stupidity, and insanity."

He could have added, "And controlled by egotism and denial as well." Why?

Because, once present, egotism and denial cannot be compartmentalized. Yes, those are prevalent among "The Super Religious Ones" and "Spiritual Giants."

But they are also prevalent among those who refuse to admit that they should never have voted for the politician they voted for, remaining in denial around the fact that they might have made a mistake.

They are prevalent in "relationships" as partners believe that they are always right and that their partners are always wrong and as they believe that their mates got the deal of the century by marrying them while they got the worst deal of the century when they ended up with the mates they have . . . or had.

They are, in fact, prevalent in every aspect of humankind's experiences, including religion, politics, relationships, whatever.

Egotism / Denial.

Arrogance / Head in the sand.

Haughtiness / Avoidance of one's truth.

Judgmentalism / Repudiation.

Conceit / More denial.

The vision details a way by which persons can escape the mental and emotional ties that bide them and be free of learned ignorance and thereby stop talking in their sleep and walking in their sleep and driving in their sleep and working in their sleep and worshipping in their sleep and also stop blindly following in their sleep the way that sheep do.

Maharaj said that realization is actually about (a) being freed from being driven unconsciously by beliefs rooted in learned ignorance and is about (b) being aware of how one has been conditioned (and programmed, domesticated, acculturated, brainwashed, and indoctrinated) and being free of the effects of those as well.

THE EXPLANATION 

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence. 

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to." 

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly"). 

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part. 

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on: 

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within" 

--Yeshu'a (Jesus) 

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away." 

--Yeshu'a (Jesus) 

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places 

but are states of mind, nothing more than 

concepts dreamed up by men." 

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell." 

--Pope Francis, the current pope 

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari, 

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record 

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium. 

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present. 

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why? 

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships? 

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.) 

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play. 

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
