THE MISUNDERSTANDINGS ABOUT BLISS
To review:
Pain is of the
body and involves:
pain
receptors; nerve endings; nerves connected to the spinal cord; sensitive nerve
ending in the tissue and the nerve attached to it; and much more. Thus, pain is a physical phenomenon.
As for misery
and suffering, they are mental phenomenon, meaning they involves the “mind”
wherein beliefs in false personas are stored.
Each false identity
brings with it a basic fear and a basic desire, and fears and desires are the
roots of misery and suffering.
Therefore,
elimination of suffering requires neither rebirths nor additional lives. It
involves elimination of the content of the "mind" which stores the
lies which generate suffering.
While treatment
plans for eliminating whatever might be causing pain can be long and complicated
in their nature, the elimination of misery and suffering can happen now.
The fact is that it could not possibly happen "later" because any
"subsequent lives" would be guaranteed to involve more programming
and more "mind"-formation and more persona-adoptions because
that pattern - now the pattern being adhered to by all on the planet with the
exception of the smallest fraction of a fraction of the population - is the way
it is and the way it shall remain.
Undergoing multiple relative lives would assure that a never-ending loop
of suffering would result. No, the Ultimate Medicine that can bring about an
end to suffering requires no additional manifestations. That’s “fortunate news”
since there can be no “additional manifestations.
What humans presently
“are” during the manifestation is a composite unity - a triad - of elements
forming a space through which oxygen and conscious-energy can circulate.
Trillions have
been fooled, and billions are being fooled right now, into believing that those
elements and specific specks of conscious-energy can be reintegrated post-manifestation.
Good luck with that.
Once
mahasamadhi is taken, the elements return to the universal pool of elements.
How could one ever separate specific quantities of elements once they have
rejoined a mass as large as the universal pool of elements? One cannot. Same
goes for conscious-energy which returns to the universal pool of
conscious-energy.
Again, good luck
trying to search through a field of energy and extract one specific quantity that
was manifested in one previous triad and which only remains manifested for a
day at most.
The
understanding that the “mind” is an illusion (as is all of its content) can
only happen now; thus, the sickness that causes suffering can only end during this
manifestation by use of the Ultimate Medicine, now.
There is no need to wait. There is no need to believe that the end of suffering
must involve "future" opportunities. The only opportunity is here and
now. If you realize, then suffering will end at the only time when it can:
presently.
If you can understand that a fire that never occurred cannot possibly re-occur,
then you can understand that one that was never born cannot possibly be
"re-born."
If you cannot
understand that, then the end of your suffering will be put "on hold"
and will never happen.
As for pain, there will be no escaping that during the relative existence
unless nerve or brain or spinal cord injuries should occur;
however, pain
can be managed when the consciousness witnesses the pain but knows that
it is happening not to “itself” but is happening to a finite body (which the
consciousness is not).
Now, to
continue with the pointers that are offered to those who define
"bliss" in the following ways:
“Bliss is what comes at the end of the cycles of reincarnation when desire
and suffering both end.”
“Bliss is liberation from the cycles of karmic rebalancing.”
“Bliss is finally being free from rebirths.”
Review this pointer: “That which was not born cannot be re-born.” Few, however,
who have been programmed to believe in multiplicities will even attempt to use
reason and logic to re-consider the concepts of birth and death or multiple
births and multiple deaths.
Most, too, who have been programmed to believe that there is “this life” and
then a future eternal life in “heaven” or in “hell” (or some variations
thereof) will be just as unwilling to see the nonsense behind the notion that
the elemental components of a rotted or cremated body can re-group with its
same mind and same personality and exist forever.
To believe that a speck of consciousness can maintain some version of
singularity and continuity and be reincarnated or resurrected is to fail to
understand that there is no singularity or continuous speck of consciousness
even now, much less "later."
Persons generally eat on a daily basis to replenish upon a daily basis the
conscious-energy. Only the illusion of “memories” would drive anyone to think
that a single speck of energy has remained manifested for decades. Most fail to
understand that there has not even been a continuous body throughout “this
existence.”
Several respondents cited a frequent but totally inaccurate notion that “bliss
is constant ecstasy.” That belief is most definitely a setup for disappointment
and misery.
Yet there were
a couple of responses that more accurately pointed toward what “bliss” is
(while touching at the same time on the “B” question about how bliss could be
evidenced during the relative existence):
“Neutrality, stability, and an absence of desire and fear,” wrote one. Those
are all within reach and could result when the state of “bliss” is reached.
“Bliss would be non-attachment,” said another. Also attainable, also an
accurate pointer to that which accompanies the bliss state.
But to be free of all of the inaccurate beliefs about bliss (including, “In
that state, I will continuously be experiencing rapturous joy for all of the
rest of the relative existence”) then one can review the most common
definitions of bliss that are offered.
To understand those definitions should provide a chance to see bliss in the
proper light and to understand what bliss is - and is not - in a reasonable way
that includes a chance for it to manifest in a realistic manner (which will
never involve the mythical idea about “continuous, rapturous joy during the
relative”):
"Bliss" has most often been defined as “blithesomeness” (meaning
“lightheartedness”); as “gladness” or “happiness”; as “agreeableness”; as
“amiability or compatibility with nature”; as “harmoniousness”; or as
“mellowness.”
Understand those definitions which are admittedly more narrow than the
conceptualized goal of "experiencing continuous, rapturous joy during the
relative existence" and then the fruitless search for some earthly
“Eldorado” or earthly “Utopia” or earthly “Shangri-La” or earthly “Paradise
Regained” can end.
Maharaj explained that “the undisturbed state of being is bliss”; as
long as the beingness is, why seek any more than that? It really is all so
simple.
If the unachievable pursuit of a utopia-on-earth ends, then what would
also come to an end would be the frustrated efforts (and the always-thwarted
ambitions) of those seekers who do not understand the means by which Reality
can be overlaid upon the relative but who naively want to remake the relative
instead.
Then, too, the next level of understanding might manifest and it might become
clear that “bliss” has nothing to do with “anything” - and nothing to do with
“something” - but has everything to do with nothing itself.
To that end, consider Maharaj’s pointer about the ultimate bliss state: “the
Ultimate state is that state in which nothing exists, neither I, nor you, nor
manifestation.” Thus the invitation here to "reach for the nothingness, now," and enjoy.

THE EXPLANATION
If
looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total
waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are
resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they
are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.
Meaning?
There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept
of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa
Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in
close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and
glorify and give thanks to."
The
reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god
that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're
dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with
narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism
evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").
Next,
in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had
her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part
of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the
"loving and caring" part.
"That
is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not
an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or
anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to
want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the
'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and
caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love
and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you."
Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:
"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and earth shall fade away."
--Yeshu'a (Jesus)
and
"Heaven and hell are not geographic places
but are states of mind, nothing more than
concepts dreamed up by men."
--Pope John Paul II
"There is no hell."
--Pope Francis, the current pope
in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,
a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record
teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.
[That
said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core
concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional
courage required to question the very existence of their institution in
light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children
and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of
billions of their members past and present.
And
that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about
why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to
continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and
conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will
they? Not likely. Why?
Because
what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the
international crime families which hold sway over the masses as
criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major
international crime families and which are the most influential and have
the largest memberships?
The
Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion
followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while
laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank);
Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers)
like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and
sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created
environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies
like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)
With
all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership
ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be
they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business,
politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and
they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the
driving forces at play.
The
masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their
groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem
because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the
people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the
masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved
with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the
continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate
the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types
of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
