Though most persons who observe any happening or action believe that it is possible to identify a single cause for that happening or that action, the non-duality understanding is that the cause of all is all.

Some state that fact thusly: everything in this universe is caused by everything that has ever happened in the universe since its beginning.

(And the cause of this universe is a result of everything that has ever happened with all universes - which You were present for and which I was present for - but that is another pointer for another time.)

Those who only partially understand that fact speak of “the universe causing this” or “the universe sent that into my life” or “it is no coincidence that our paths have crossed - the universe sent you to me.”

That is nonsense, the result of magical (or “supernatural”) thinking, and all magical thinking is bogus and supernatural thinking is bogus.

[In fact, all thinking is bogus, but that subject is discussed in the book “THERE’S NO SUCH THING AS ‘PEACE OF MIND’ (There is Only Peace if You’re Out of Your Mind”) so there is no need to explain that again here.]

The reality is that there is no “force” or “Power” looking over you or anyone, and there is no Creator or Causer that is creating and causing things to happen to anyone or anything. 

[At the simplest level, all is matter / energy. Science proves that neither energy nor matter can be created or destroyed, therefore, there can be no creator nor Creator. Parents do not create a child. They merely cycle already-existing elements.]

Whatever happens is happening as a result of the entire chain of causation, which is a chain with an infinite number of “links” rather than any single cause or causer.

That applies to the mental and emotional state that is common to almost all of the persons on the planet, a mental and emotional state that is far from healthy, far from normal, and far from natural. And that condition is not the result of any single cause.

It has taken millions of years for the masses’ present “state of mind” to become as warped and distorted and twisted and bent and perverse and sick as it is, and that condition is one of the major symptoms of what realized non-dualists call “the Ultimate Sickness.”

Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj made clear that the purpose of those sharing the non-dual message is to address what he called widespread “ignorance” as well as “stupidity” and “insanity.” 

In some cases, the “Sickness” has not yet progressed to a degree that must be treated by mental health professionals only or to a level that cannot be treated at all.

In those less serious cases, the non-dual teachings might address the ignorance and stupidity and insanity that he discussed; 

however, most among the masses are almost all suffering from the Ultimate Sickness but they will never seek treatment because persons “normalize” that which is actually abnormal. 

Because of that practice, most do not know that they are Sick and, therefore, will never seek the indicated treatment.      

For the few that finally wake up enough to see that they are Sick and seek treatment, the non-duality teachings might be able to assist them in that quest which is actually a quest for awareness and a restoration to sanity, after which peace and a sense of unity and an understanding of Real Love and bliss can manifest for the remainder of the relative existence.

Once the understanding of the functioning of the totality happens, then those with that understanding will grasp this fact: to begin to be free of “ignorance” as well as “stupidity” and “insanity,” non-realized persons must first understand that the “cause” or “causes” that they assign to problems and happenings and events and actions are erroneous and deceptive and mythical in basis.

They who fail to understand that “the reason they believe something happened” is a totally fallacious reason will never be able to differentiate true from false, and those who are unable to differentiate true from false will forever be trapped in ignorance and even insanity.

For example, many now conclude that “mankind’s basic nature is to be sinful and that humans must all seek ‘A’ or ‘B’ or ‘C’ in order to be rid of their basic sinful nature”; or, that “humans are like animals nowadays”; 

or, that “there are forces of good and forces of evil that are at war in the universe and everything bad that happens always happens because of an evil force and everything positive that happens always happens because of a good force.”

Note the dualities at play in those beliefs: “good vs. evil” and “good forces vs. evil forces” and “good people vs. evil people.”

The most bonafide clue that one is suffering from “ignorance or stupidity or insanity” is evidenced by the fact that he or she is unstable as a result of dual-mindedness; that she or he speaks via a vocabulary of dualities; 

and that every action that he or she takes is rooted in dualistic ideas, concepts, notions, thoughts, perceptions and misperceptions, impressions, theories, and views (a.k.a., “beliefs”). 

Thus, to be restored to sanity, persons must see that they are trapped in dualistic thinking and dualistic speaking which lead to insane acts. The present warped condition of the minds of the masses is a result of happenings that go back billions of years.

However, the most recent links in the chain of causation that have contributed to the bastardization of the mind (which have manifested during the last five thousand years and which have been happening - literally - at “warp” speed), involve . . .

programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, indoctrination, and brainwashing. Those factors have left the planet’s population in a state wherein distortion and delusion have become the “abnormal norm.”

This series defines the problem and then offers a solution for those who are willing to question it all and willing to seek Truth with “the desperation of a drowning man.”

So this series will deal with one of the most common but erroneous beliefs that the non-realized masses cling to and which they will fight about (and even kill over), namely, that there is a duel going on between dual forces in the universe.

And of all of the dualistic concepts that the masses believe in, faithfully and unquestioningly, is the duality of “good vs. evil,” which is one of the most popular dualities of all.

In fact, at the core of what the masses deem to be “all of the evil people and all of the evil acts going on in the world,” there is actually nothing that is evil at all.

The two most prevalent problems on the planet are actually rooted in two sicknesses that have a great deal in common, specifically, the sickness of addictions and the Ultimate Sickness.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
