TWO KEY TRAITS OF THE MIND: CONFUSED AND CONFUSING

Consciousness is rooted in the Absolute. The brain is rooted in the elements. The "mind" is rooted in wrong programming and faulty conditioning and perverted domestication and xenophobia-based acculturation and warped indoctrination and distorted brainwashing as well as learned ignorance and lies and concepts and ideas and superstitions and falsehoods (a.k.a., “beliefs”).

Once programmed, conditioned, etc., then every human mind is caca-filled. The caca-content in human minds - including the fear-and-desire-agendas of false identities stored therein - will determine all thoughts, all words, and all actions / behaviors.
The masses around the globe are all suffering from the Ultimate Sickness and its three key symptoms (per Maharaj) are “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity.”
While “The Dark Ages” were “dark” because of the widespread ignorance among humans all around the globe, the current age - which could be labeled “The Psycho Age” - is “psycho” because of the widespread insanity being put on display by humans all around the globe.
Every aspect of the functioning of the most typical human mind nowadays is both confused and confusing. Humans who have visited here and who have survived for an average length of time have been able to list eighty or more ego-states / personas / personalities / false identities which they have been assigned or have assumed during those years.
Moreover, each time a false identity is accepted as real, the mind will call on the “guards” stored in the mind which can set to work to preserve and protect the validity of any false identity which might be challenged by other humans.
That body of guards is known as “ego-defense mechanisms” or “ego-state-defenders.”
Psychologists for years have recognized the existence of what they call “ego-defense mechanisms”: behaviors which humans practice in order to preserve and protect the ego (Latin for “the “false I).
The mechanisms are always fear-based or lie-based or both and thus are considered by professionals as the source of what many refer to as “character defects.”
Projection (psychological): Unconsciously ascribing to others one’s own ideas, impulses, or emotions; finding and pointing out in others the faults we subconsciously most hate in ourselves.
Egotism: The excessive use of “I,” “My,” “Me;” self-conceit; selfishness; narcissism; the habit of thinking, talking, or writing too much of oneself.
Egocentrism: Recognizing the self as the center of all things; self-centered; believing that everything should revolve around you and your wishes.
Rejection of Others: Casting off others or their opinions: refusing to consider others or their opinions as useful.
Justification: Furnishing a reason or excuse for one’s behavior.
Victimization: (“Victim Syndrome”): The feeling of being destroyed, sacrificed, or injured by one’s own distresses; blaming others for one's self-induced crises.
Blame: Placing on another person or thing the responsibility for a mistake or fault of one’s own.
Rationalization: Attributing logical or credible motives for actions actually resulting from other often unrecognized (or hidden) motives; finding or creating plausible but false motives for one's conduct; making excuses for unacceptable behaviors.
Grandiosity: The desire to seem important; to be pompous or showy.
Excessiveness: Overindulging; being immoderate; wanting more than what is needed; wanting a quantity beyond what is necessary or desirable; wanting to exceed others.
How confused and confusing is the programmed and conditioned human mind? Consider the mechanism first on the list above, psychological projection.
Have you dealt with people who are hyper-critical and who constantly “see” and “disparage” certain traits in other people? Professionally-trained counselors and psychologists often note that those persons as using projection. How does the use of projection work?
The masses only subconsciously have any awareness of their own faulty traits. Rather than admit that they have those traits, they spot them in others and point out those traits in others in an effort to “exorcise” their own “undesirable traits,” that is, in an effort to “cast out their own mental demons and project them onto others.”
Professionals note that the process is as close as most humans will ever come to touching their so-called “negative traits.” Such humans are amazingly confused.
But the mind does not always stop there when supposedly dealing with (relatively speaking) “negative traits.”
The confusing, caca-filled minds of the masses will also take what they believe to be one of their (relatively speaking) “positive traits” and mention them as a way of convincing their listeners that the speaker indeed has those “positive traits.”
For example, I heard someone recently using a back-handed way to refute a pointer offered about the chaos and relative destruction which humans are generating. That person said:
“Floyd, I believe most people do not want chaos and really want peace and are doing everything they can to get it.”
What she was really revealing is that she believes
that she does not want chaos and really wants peace and thinks she is doing
everything she can to get it. Her words and behavior prove the opposite to be the case.
See, her mind has convinced her that she is nothing like those people who are generating chaos and she was trying to convince me to agree, but she left out some key phrases.
What she really meant was “I believe most people [who are exactly like me] do not want chaos and really want peace [as I do] and are doing everything they can to get it [as I do].”
The reply: “Have you ever considered the possibility that most humans are so dead to their feelings and so in denial and so bored with their circumstances that they have become addicted to chaos in an effort to get the adrenals pumping so they can momentarily ‘feel something . . . feel alive’?”
She, of course, wanted to argue that pointer, too, suggesting that people [she] cannot be addicted to chaos, so I ended the conversation. She, likely, has returned to her practice of judging and criticizing others who are exactly like her;
and has continued to hang out with angry, self-righteous, critical, irritating types and is reacting to them with anger and debate in order to get the adrenals pumping and in order to feel something after she was raised to feel nothing by two “unable to feel and unable to love” parents.
She, like billions of other humans, is being driven by a mind which is both confused and confusing. And she, like billions of others, are convinced that the content of their minds is praiseworthy and admirable and even laudable.
And how offended they all can be if anyone should suggest that “garbage in, garbage out” applies as much to their minds as to their computers; or that they “throw out the trash”; or that what they are taking to be so praiseworthy and admirable and even laudable is . . . just a bunch of BS.
So it is, but so it need not be.
