F.: Next, an understanding of where you were prior to conception can never happen as long as you believe that you were born or as long as you believe that anything was created. I was not born and You were not born. I will not die and You will not die.
However, even though neither You nor I will die, that does not mean that "we" (the body-mind-personality) will live forever either. Elements come together, consciousness manifests temporarily, a space temporarily circulates air and calls it “breath,” and it is as simple as that.
You know that the air was here prior to conception; you know that the elements were here prior to conception; and you must now see that the conscious-energy also existed prior to conception. It is that/That which is the subject of your inquiry. Where was that consciousness, Which You Are, prior to conception? What “set the stage” for that manifestation?
The stage was set by nothing other than an evolutionary series of events that resulted in oxygen being present on the planet, in elements being present on the planet, in plants being present on the planet, and in spaces with nervous systems being present on the planet. All of that prepared the way for the manifestation of That Which You Were prior to conception (which is also That Which You remain post-conception, and That Which You shall remain post-manifestation).
Look at the way the elements set the stage: the Laws of Thermodynamics prove that elements “come together” but do not “stay together,” but even when elements come together, that is not a “creation” of anything. It is just a case where already-existing elements come together temporarily. And when elements come apart, that has nothing to do with destruction. The elements remain.
Nothing can be created nor destroyed, so whatever comes together temporary must have already existed, and whatever goes apart will also continue to exist. Trillions upon trillions of human forms have come together and come apart, but not one element involved has been added or lost from the original pool of elements.
Consumption of earth elements/plants can allow cells to form and divide and take the shape of temporary forms, but the various basic elements always existed prior to such coming together and continue to exist after they are no longer together.
Too, energy can manifest via a space or a temporary gathering of elements, but it too will be manifested via that space only temporarily. So where were You—that conscious-energy which manifested via a space that resulted from elements coming together after an act of friction?
Trace that space which developed within a womb…follow it back…back to an egg and a seed. Trace that egg and seed back to plant food bodies. Trace the bodies back to the consumption of plants (or to the consumption of something that ate plants).
Trace the energy of that plant/vehicle-of-energy back to its source. Find that field of energy wherein a specialized form of energy which was not even aware of ItSelf would soon manifest through the natural process referenced above and then be aware of ItSelf during the manifestation.
Then, see how it is that the manifested consciousness—initially aware of Its presence—came to be blocked from consciousness of ItSelf as false ideas and bogus beliefs and fictitious concepts were introduced.
See how they fooled You into thinking that You are a body, a mind, a personality. See how they fooled You into not even knowing Who/What You Are. See how they blinded You in the manner that an oyster forms a pearl:
When a foreign object becomes lodged in the tender inner tissue of an oyster, the oyster secretes around that object layer upon layer of what is called nacre (a combination of minerals and proteins which is the same combination that makes up the outer shell).
Eventually, the inner object cannot be seen. The presence of that object allowed for the triggering of a process whereby layer upon layer of materials would build up and eventually surround that inner object. All that is seen afterwards are the layers, not that which has been blocked from view.
Similarly, the consciousness manifested, and persons living in ignorance began the processes whereby layer upon layer of false concepts and bogus ideas were introduced. Those formed a conglomeration that surrounded the inner resource—the inner guru, that inner consciousness—and blocked it from view.
Now, among programmed and conditioned persons, all that is seen are layer upon layer of concepts and ideas…not That Which they block from view. Eventually—as a result of programming and conditioning and acculturation and domestication—the Pure Witness cannot see ItSelf but sees instead the impure layers of lies and concepts and beliefs.
To know where You were prior to programming, prior to conception, and prior to manifestation via a plant, trace YourSelf back. Remove the layers that block You from seeing You. Then, You will be able to trace Your roots back to the Absolute. Please enter the silence of contemplation.
