I AM THAT vs. “This Is Who I Think I Am”

The concepts of “hate” and “hatred” are being witnessed on an increasing basis across the globe as fewer and fewer are realized (that is, as fewer and fewer understand oneness and Real Love). Such is the case when persons do not understand that they are not who or what they think they are.

Any talk of (false) “love” is actually just talk about that which is “not-Love.” It is the talk that is talked by the non-realized, and their talk is talked with no other intent than to support the false personas which they have assumed as identities.

It is those assumed personas - not the pure, universal consciousness - which is speaking, and their talk of “love” is talk that is rooted in the “polluting arrogance” that Maharaj spoke of.

It is also rooted in duality since all talk of “love” is based in a subject-object, “A” loves “B” mental construct. It is only the non-dual Oneness that can involve Real Love.

Real Love is not the kind of dualistic subject-object love which the non-realized masses speak of. 

The talk of the non-realized about the “love” they have for their religion is talk intended to support their ego-states and their sense of superiority; 

their talk of “love” for their race is talk intended to support their ego-states and their sense of superiority that is based not in accomplishment but in pigmentation alone; 

and their talk of “love” for another person is talk intended to support their ego-states and nothing else.

In every case, therefore, that which is “false love” always refers to the non-realized speaker’s love of a false self. For a non-realized man, for example, to tell a wife or a woman “I love you” really means that he loves his identity of “The Husband,” “The Lover,” “The Boyfriend,” etc. Being non-realized, he has no clue at all about what Real Love is;

furthermore, the (false) love of who you are not will block the knowing of that which you truly are. Blocked thusly, the pointer that you are love manifest will be considered meaningless . . . will be considered “intellectual nonsense and stunningly dangerous!”

Here is how that looks in a current example running in Western newscasts: a man publicly echoed Captain Renault’s proclamation about Rick from the movie “Casablanca” that Rick is a “citizen of the world.”

As used recently, the comment by that man that he is a citizen of the world was merely pointing to the Oneness of all bodies-cum-consciousness that are moving about the planet.

What would the typical, expected response be from anyone among the non-realized? The response by one such person trapped in the darkness was: 

“I am not a citizen of the world!” Bragging about his pride in being “a citizen of America,” he went on to say, “I think the entire concept is intellectual nonsense and stunningly dangerous!”

One writer characterized such talk as evidence of “regressive American exceptionalism.” Exceptionalism. Exactly. That is an example of the “polluted arrogance” which Maharaj discussed.

It leads the non-realized to rank everything - groups, states, sects, religions, nations - on an imaginary, vertical hierarchy and to condescendingly believe that they are at the top of each hierarchy that they mentally construct.

The arrogant - trapped in their ego-states as they are - will believe that they are highly exceptional, that their religion is highly exceptional, and that their nation is highly exception (except for the people in that nation who have differing beliefs).

Separated. Better than. Exceptional. It is such examples of egotistical nonsense that Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj and other  realized, non-dual guides point to as examples of illusions that are taken to be truth when persons fail to understand that they are not who they think they are.

The fact is that there is only One, and because All is One, there can be no exceptions to that fact, so anyone thinking he / she is exceptional or special or different is delusional.

Another more enlightened writer noted the bravado, the sociopathy, and the arrogance - the “polluted arrogance” - of the one bragging that he is not a citizen of the world but that he is “a proud American” instead. Xenophobia to the max.

Such “polluting arrogance” will block the knowing of the unicity, and the failure to understand the unicity will become the foundation on which all hatred (all that is not Love) is built. Here is the way it is explained in an excerpt from the book From the Absolute to the Nothingness.

The drop dissolves into the ocean when the Oneness is understood, and it drops into the ocean at the point of un-manifestation. The ocean rushes into the drop when, among other things, the emptiness is replaced by an understanding of Love and a sense of the fullness (which can only be known during the manifestation). At that point, it is truly realized that One is All and All is One.

In that instant, Love fills the void left after all dualistic beliefs about “love” and “hate” end. (False) “love” is totally relative, not to be confused with what can be pointed to with the terms True Love or Real Love.

Since “love” is relative and therefore fleeting, it can - and does - quite readily give way to “hate.” Conversely, there is no counterpart to Love; however, even Love can only be understood during the manifestation (and only by those who understand I Am THAT).

MORE ON THE ONENESS

At the end of the non-duality-based mystery / adventure novel entitled The Twice-Stolen Necklace Murders (published twenty years ago in 2003), the editor of the book interviewed me “in character” as if speaking to the lead male character named “Kirk.” 

She included that interview at the end of the novel and the following exchange came from that interview:

Editor: I know you say that modern science is confirming all of the elements of the non-dual message, as in the new revelations regarding the ‘Field of Consciousness.’ But is this understanding compatible with the newest teachings in physics, such as the ‘strings theory’?

Kirk: Absolutely. My guide said decades ago that science would one day catch up with the ancients’ understanding and prove that the non-dual understanding is based in fact. Such is happening.

Since “strings” are the lowest common denominator of EVERYTHING, smaller than atoms, smaller than electrons, smaller than the mass of protons and neutrons at the core of electrons, then the understanding of the science of strings shows us that the only thing which makes you appear to be different from me - or from a piano, or from a tree - is the vibrational pattern of the strings.

And since the strings are simply energy in movement, and since the strings know automatically what to do when they are manifested in a human as opposed to in a piano as opposed to in a tree, then the teaching of strings proves this non-dual understanding, scientifically.

We are conscious-energy. We are all THAT, all the same, all one, with only appearances leading us to believe we are separate or different. We are not.

Physics now proves that we are THAT, that we are all one, all the same “thing.” We ARE the strings, so to speak. Use whatever name you choose to refer to that one ‘thing’ from which all is composed when manifest.

More recently, the strings theory had been modified by some who now claim that the ‘sparticle’ might be even more basic than the string. No matter. What is real is whatever that most basic, singular, non-dual ‘thing’ is, period.

Now call That what you want, the truth is that Far Easterners have long understood that everything in the universe that is manifested or not is nothing more nor less than a manifestation or not-manifestation of That, of the one true, real That-ness.

Call it ‘strings’ or ‘That’ or ‘sparticle’ or ‘energy with consciousness’ or “conscious-energy.” That is All, and That is all there is.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
