The Ignorance / Insanity of Adults Not Even Understanding “How Babies Happen”
or
Believing That Their “God” Has a Hand in All and Can Multi-Task to the Eight Billionth Power”
Why
discuss the “birth” and “death” concepts alongside the invitation to stop
believing any of the lies you were taught and any of the other misperceptions
that are being spread around the globe?
Because the birth / death falsehood is likely the second earliest lie that
children are told - a lie then believed and forever repeated by adult-age
persons . . .
(a) because they do not recall even the most basic scientific facts that they
were taught in their 7th grade biology class (if they made it that far in
school) and, therefore,
(b) because they do not even have the slightest clue about “how babies are
really made,” most believing that there was a third party (“God”) in the
bedroom who was controlling everything going on at the time that an act of
friction happened which would trigger the nine months of cycling the things
necessary for a child to eventually manifest.
Maharaj addressed the belief in The God Lie: “First of all, you identify something
as being good or bad for yourself. Then, in an effort to acquire good or to get rid
of the bad, you have invented a God. Then you worship such a God and . . . you
pray to that God for something good to happen to you.”
(The earlier lie? Likely that “you are a girl / boy.” Of that, Again, Maharaj
said, “After the information given to you by the mother, that you are a boy or
girl, all your further acquisitions are by hearsay.” NOTE: Many of the pointers
being shared from Maharaj are discussed in the book “A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE.”)
He made clear: “My true state, which is whole, undifferentiated, is beyond
birth and death. I am never bound by my body and mind. I am limitless.” Yet the
“boy / girl lie” and the “birth / death lie” are only the beginning of the
thousands of falsehoods that are taught during the early years.
Most
children are told what “the world” is like and either given a distorted “look-at-everything-through-rose-tinted-glasses-view”
or made paranoid for the entire existence by the early picture of “a world that
is a scary, dangerous place,” a perspective that is passed along to many.
Parents who are prone to put a spin on everything in order to appear to be “positive
and not negative” will set their children up to be adults whose view of
everything is distorted and removed from both reality and Reality;
conversely,
overly-protective, fear-based, perfectionistic and indulgent parents will set
the stage for a child to be driven by fears and insecurities when they finally
have to move out and try to “survive out there” on their own.
(Many nowadays are so emotionally and mentally imprisoned that they become “boomerang
kids,” tossed out of the house but constantly coming right back. All very
unnatural when parents pass along their own distorted, falsehood-based views of
“the world.”)
Maharaj explained their actions this way: “The world is nothing but the picture
of your own ‘I’ consciousness.”
Why else must this “birth concept” be disproved if persons are ever to be able
to cast aside their belief in all of the other falsehoods that they were taught
and now hold sacred? Because of this: when asked, most on the planet claim to
be affiliated with one or another organized religion.
Moreover,
religion is the most plentiful source of duality that has ever existed and the most
prolific source of myth-and-superstition-based falsehoods that are passed on
not only as “The Truth” but also as “The Truth That Cannot Be Doubted or
Questioned, At the Risk of Unimaginably Horrible and Never-Ending Punishment.”
Here, the invitation is to question everything and to ask, “Is it possible that
everything I have ever been told or taught or now believe is false?”
Maharaj: “When the birth is disproved, the great noble meaning of spirituality
and the meaning of this world - everything - is disproved.”
If the fallacious timeline of “birth-life-death-judgment-eternal reward-eternal
punishment” is not seen to be false, then a lifetime will be lived, not
naturally but, in the most unnatural and supernatural manner conceivable.
Many
who buy into that timeline prevarication have been doomed to live in either
paranoia or guilt or both; many have developed severe cases of religious
workaholism and / or spiritual workaholism (to the detriment of abiding
naturally and comfortably, relaxed and free of unmet desires and baseless
fears).
Of that, Maharaj said: “Whatever spiritual things you aspire to know are all
happening in this objective world, in the illusion. All this is happening in
the objective world. All is dishonesty. There is no truth in this fraud.”
Yet
how many hours and days and months and years - along with how much money as
well - have been spent in “The Search,” “The Quest,” “The Work” . . . involved
with assuring eternal continuity and ever-lasting salvation and limitless bliss
for a totally bogus, totally dreamed up, body-mind-personality triad?
How useless, the expenditure of energy (and, in some cases, the expenditure of
vast fortunes) in the search for that which does not exist. One may as well
seek the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, may as well seek the gold in El
Dorado, or may as well seek the goal of personal power now with additional access
to a “Higher Power or Supreme Power or Omnipotent Power” now and forevermore to
boot.
One might as well substitute a search for a bird’s nest on the bottom of the
ocean for the religious / spiritual search and for being a religious workaholic
or a spiritual workaholic. Of that, Maharaj said: “Whatever you have tried to
understand during your spiritual search will prove false”
and
“From birth what has made the body grows? It is no power in the world. It is
the power of beingness, the atom, the consciousness . . . call it what you
will.”
Beyond all of that work that steals precious hours and days and months and
years that could be spent relaxing and taking it easy and “recharging one’s
batteries” with recreation / “re-creation,” the consequences can be even more
serious. relatively speaking.
When
religious or spiritual fanatics are programmed to believe not only that they
must do all that is assigned by their leaders but must also eliminate from the
face of the earth those who leaders are offering teachings from a different “holy
book.”
Of that concept, Maharaj said: “I have no faith in anything which has ever been
told, not even what has been told by the Vedas. Only my own experience.” Once
it is understood that the truth cannot be stated but that it can be known, then
why would anyone be susceptible to believing any lies ever again?
Because they are not really convinced that the truth cannot be stated but can
be known. There are still some beliefs they have that they think are true and
can be expressed as what they believe, so surely - they conclude - truth can be
stated.
That is a false belief that non-realized persons reinforce all day long as they feel compelled to share their ideas and concepts and beliefs and dogma and theories and ideologies.
