Quotations and Pointers by Category and Subject Matter

REGARDING "CREATION AND CREATORS"

"First of all you identify something as being good or bad for yourself. Then, in an effort to acquire good or to get rid of the bad, you have invented a God. Then you worship such a God and . . . you pray to that God for something good to happen to you."

Either there is One, or there is duality and / or multiplicity.

Either there is a prime cause and creation (and therefore a "prime causer" and "creator") or there is neither creation nor destruction.

Science has proved that there is neither creation nor destruction.

All is energy / matter, and energy / matter can be neither created nor destroyed. Wherefore, then, a causer or a creator in that reality?

The cause of all is . . . all.

Where is there any possibility of creator-gods-and-goddesses or a creator god (or the multi-personality-creator-sustainer-destroyer god that billions upon billions of Jews, Christians, and Muslims worship) when that which is has always been, when That cannot have been created, when That cannot be destroyed, and when all merely cycles . . . or not?

Persons who are programmed to believe that their bodies-minds-personalities shall last "for infinity after death" do not pause to consider that, if infinity is a possibility in > that "direction" on their timelines, then it must also be a possibility in < that "direction" on their timelines.

Yet the only thing that they can consider in terms of infinity in < that "direction" is their "god" or their "gods and goddesses." Yet infinite is infinite, is it not?

Because all is energy / matter - and because neither energy nor matter can be created or destroyed - then what has always been is not a "god" or "gods and goddesses" but is instead merely energy / matter. Infinite is infinite, and both energy and matter have existed infinitely.

To witness what is happening "here" and "now," "something" must have always existed. What that something is has been a figment of the imagination of the trillions upon trillions of humans that have "come" and "gone" on this planet.

If all is energy / matter, then that is all that has always been, and because neither can be destroyed, that is all that shall always be. And if that is the case - and science has proven that it is - then that is all that presently is now as well.

Whatever will exist forever "after" must have also existed forever "before."

That fact has been warped into the notion that a body-mind-personality-triad existed before the present manifestation of consciousness in the various spaces and forms that are moving about the planet.

Further warped thinking is now capable of believing that all persons existed before and were capable of entering into "sacred contracts with god."

The facts have also been warped into the notion that a body-mind-personality-triad can "have continuity forever" or that the body-mind-personality shall "exist forever as a body / soul-mind-personality."

That leads to the more absurd claim that couples (who cannot presently work out a manner for living together happily for more than seven years on average) will live together happily ever after for eternity (with their god - or gods and goddesses - determining which spouse one shall live with forever if multiple marriages had been entered into during the relative existence. Interesting concepts, yes? Yet, moreover, totally absurd concepts, yes?)

In addition - as a result of persons' tendency to upgrade and downgrade in their borderline personality fashions - what they take to be "this world" had been (A) ungraded dualistically into "another world" that some take to be a "heaven," and what they take to be "this world" had been (B) downgraded dualistically into "another world" that some take to be a "hell."

To have accepted as fact the false concept of a timeline that involves "birth" and "life" and "death" and "judgment" and "eternal punishment" or "eternal hell" has been to lay the foundation for most of the nonsense that persons throughout history have thought and said and taught and done.

To illustrate the functioning of the totality, one cannot accurately use a line. The closest that one can come to illustrating accurately the actual functioning of the totality is to use a circle.

REGARDING "EMOTIONS VS. FEELINGS" 

“The realized” can feel but will feel without attachment and without a chain of reactions that result from emotional intoxication.

Feelings among the realized are merely witnessed as they rise and fall.

Emotions, on the other hand, are "experienced" only by persons—by those believing in their false roles and assumed ego-states.

As a result of their persona-generated emotions, they are continually in a state of emotional intoxication and are constantly reacting and over-reacting to what they take to be "personal experiences."

Personality / personalities are (usually subconsciously) driving all desires and / or fears, for those are the two ultimate agendas of any personality: satisfying desires and allaying fears, (especially the fear that the assumed persona might "come to an end" because the co-dependent counterpart that is required for the assumption of - and the continued playing of - every role might decide to quite playing).

However, and contrary to some charges, the non-dual understanding does not result in the realized "living a robotic existence."

Realization does result in the remainder of the manifestation happening in a fashion that is free of mental, emotional, and spiritual intoxication, even as feelings reach new heights not previously even imagined.

REGARDING "MEDITATION" 

Originally, only one purpose of meditation was intended: not to reach "a state without thought" but to be quiet in order to consider - in a totally conscious, totally awake, and totally aware manner - any pointer that was offered by one's teacher until that point was understood.

Consideration and understanding, not “motionless consciousness,” was the intent. That condition manifests later along the "path."

If it is thoughts that you wish to be free of, then address in meditation or in the quiet the falsity of the particular ego-state that is generating the thoughts, not the thousands of thoughts that any given ego-state is generating.

Meditation is intended to wake people up, not put them to sleep. Exercises conducted in the quiet along the “journey” are tools, yes, but when a homeowner’s house is built, he puts away his tools and then simply enjoys "the new place he’s in."

Once realized, it is understood that there is no meditator, so WHO is it who believes that (a) she or he has completed the construction of a new house but simultaneously thinks that (b) he or she must continue the building process?

That would be, among other assumed identities, "The Person Who Needs Maintenance" and who has not realized that there is nothing to maintain.

If you want to enjoy some activity after completing the construction of a new house, why not enter into a dance inside - dancing lightly for the remainder of the time that you are in your "new place"?

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

"There is no hell."

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
