CULTURES AND INSTITUTIONS PROGRAM PERSONS TO ACCEPT A LACK OF TRUE FREEDOM (continued)

Over the years that Maharaj offered satsang, three times he changed the estimate of how many humans are likely to realize at any given time, lowering the number by ten times or so with each estimate. He said that most will never seek and that, among those that do seek, most of them will be afraid of freedom and that only a few will truly be interested in total freedom.

If you take the number of persons Maharaj estimated would realize at any given time and compare that to the world population at the time, he suggested 

that the number would only be in the thousands . . . 

that only a few thousand out of millions would ever be totally free. . . 

and that only a few thousand at a time on the entire planet will understand completely the functioning of the totality and prefer total freedom to entrapment.

Most will forever be lost in the dream and will have no clue about why they think as they think, say what they say, and do what they do. 

Most will believe that they are making things happen, that they are in charge or in control;

a huge number might see things happen but will have no understanding about the chain of causation; 

and the vast majority will most often stand about with a question mark on their faces, asking, “What just happened?”

How could persons possibly understand what is happening, and why, if they do not even know who / what they are? To understand how to be totally free, it must be understood exactly what is binding and imprisoning persons.

UPDATE: To revisit the three women who claim that they have seen the magnitude of their religion’s sexual abuse and pedophilia and see the scope of the harm their leaders have imposed on generations of children and adults.

Of those three, one has returned to the church after a few weeks of claiming to have seen the truth . . . the abuse. The two other adult women remain in the church because of spousal and parental pressure.

So what “keeps ‘em coming back” after so much national and international attention has exposed the enormity of the abuse and its consequences?

Self-centeredness and nonsensical beliefs. 

A key nonsensical belief is that after a human composite unity takes mahasamadhi (or “dies” or is “killed”) that the three parts of that unity can be gathered up and can survive for eternity and that eternity will be marked by either constant rewards or constant punishment.

The human, composite body is a triad made of plant food elements which provide a space in which conscious-energy can come and go and in which oxygen can come and go and in which the elements themselves also come and go. It’s all manifesting temporary.

When mahasamadhi occurs, the elements return to the universal pool of elements; the oxygen is released into the universal pool of oxygen; and the conscious-energy returns to the Absolute, universal pool of energy.

Now the question asked is, “WHO (what fear-and-desire-driven false identity) can be convinced that all of those elements can be retrieved or reformed into an entity that will survive forever in heaven or hell (or whatever any given religion uses as a substitute for those)?”

Those types are so naïve that they would believe it if an authority told them that they could drop a chicken egg from waist high onto a hard floor and that the three composite parts - the albumen and the yoke and the shell - could then all be picked up and shaped back into a form that is exactly like it was originally and that it could then last forever.

Some will claim that the new form might be gauzy or transparent or form wings and fly about the earth invisibly and guard other eggs all around the planet. Now that belief requires quite some magical thinking, and that is exactly what was required for them to be taught that concept and to believe it without any questioning at all.

Other will claim that the broken-and-then-reformed egg can be viewed post shattering but will be recognizable individually by all those that had seen the egg when they were all manifested;

but like the non-realized human masses, they will assert that within the egg is a spiritual “soul” or immaterial essence or animating principle or actuating cause of the egg and that "that is what is actually surviving forever in a form similar to its original, manifested shape and form and appearance."

Believing all that nonsense sets the stage for the self-centeredness driven by a warped mind and warped belief system to conclude subconsciously:

“My eternal, blessed existence - which only the church can assure - trumps any willingness to end my affiliation with the institution that has been the source of more abuse-inspired hangups and misery and suffering and trauma and mental illness and suicides than any other source in history.”

Another key motivator to stay involved with such institutions and organizations is to hang onto that weekly slate cleaning which they make available.

Believers in sin have been convinced that they can do anything to anyone and then seek forgiveness and then start over with a clean slate (just in case it might be one day in the coming week that is the time that their god “might call them home for their final judgment”).

Again, a clean slate and eternal reward are the motivating factors which make the membership of those institutions turn their back on children being molested and ignore or deny the truth about their organized religion, which among the thousands it might be.

FYI:

The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) is the largest, oldest and most active support group for women and men wounded by religious and institutional authorities (priests, ministers, bishops, deacons, nuns, coaches, teachers, and others).

If that organization is not preferred, then there are scores of other sources that provide assistance to those abused by religious leaders, political leaders, workplace bosses, in-home family members or relatives . . . whoever. 

If you prefer to work with a professionally-trained therapist in treating the residual trauma which millions suffer from, then you might seek a pro who has been trained in the use of EMDR and used that approach for providing mental healing and freedom.

Fewer sources are available in the 50% of the states in the U.S. that are run by politicians who believe that, if a child is impregnated as a result of rape or incest, the child must nevertheless carry the child to term and hope that the trauma on their young bodies does not kill them in the process.

To conclude the discussion regarding being free vs. being dependent or co-dependent, Louise’s words shall be shared to offer the final pointers about what blocks total freedom and will then lay out the only means by which total freedom can manifest:

L: What you are cannot be known when you are trapped in the belief of being an individual. This belief is your imprisonment. You expect freedom to come while clinging to this notion, but it can never happen.

The chains that bind are the beliefs you have about yourself that you take to be truths but that are in fact the lies or myths propagated by the society. Once persons clung to the belief that the earth was flat, because the society perpetuated this false idea. Are things so different now?

You are not a separate individual; this is a belief or idea that you have been taught by the society and that you continue to believe because consensual reality reinforces it. You do not want to be free, because you want to cling to a string of falsehoods.

Let go of your ideas. What have they brought you except imprisonment and suffering? Accept that you cannot handpick right ideas and wrong ideas. Let them all go. That belief-free state is freedom.

Please enter into the silence of contemplation.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
