MISTAKES OFTEN MADE BY SEEKERS
MISTAKING “GOOD” ROLES AND POPULAR ROLES FOR ACTUAL IDENTITIES, continued
To review:
The final roles to be abandoned as seekers more through the steps are “The Super Religious One” and “The Spiritual Giant” and “The Super Seeker.” At the extreme, “The Spiritual Giant” is also often seen as the Infinite Self, the Supreme Self, the Ultimate Self, etc. Those prevent the freedom and peace of the nothingness from being reached and enjoyed. As long as one believes in being something or some things dreamed up by persons, then the not-something and the not-anything and the neti-neti reality cannot be grasped.

Objective witnessing could reveal that - in more cases than not - persons (seekers and non-seekers alike) begin playing, or continue playing, the roles of either “The Child” or “The Parent” but seldom “The Adult” / “The Mature Adult.”
Few children pass through the first six or so years of their relative existence without having felt the fear of an angry parent or guardian. There will be instances of anger and punishment when a child is simply behaving as a child.
The message is, “You need to think and talk and behave as I, your parent, think and talk and behave. You are never to question my authority, and you are not to question the authority of others in our culture who are authority figures, be they church leaders, police, educators, adults in positions of influence, a neighborhood gang leader . . . etc.
When asked,
“Why do people conform to authority figures?”
One analyst responded:
“In everyday situations, people obey orders because they want to get rewards, because they want to avoid the negative consequences of disobeying, and because they have been taught to believe that an authority is legitimate. In more extreme situations later on, people may even obey even when they are required to violate their own values or commit crimes.”
There is likely no other greater concentration of programming and conditioning and acculturation and domestication and brainwashing and indoctrination than by the ages of four and five and six.
Then, having been sent off to school, they become inundated with a whole new round of programming and conditioning and acculturation and domestication and brainwashing and indoctrination.
After that, they will be buried for the remainder of their lives in nonsensical programming and conditioning and acculturation and domestication and brainwashing and indoctrination if they do not realize that, as Maharaj said, “It’s all BS.”
If a mind has been filled with nonsensical programming and conditioning and acculturation and domestication and brainwashing and indoctrination by the age of six, then is it not obvious than no matter what the physical age of an elemental plant food body might be, a person's motivating and driving beliefs will be rooted in childish thing?
Modern day Christianity did not spring forth from the words of Yeshu’a (“Jesus”). What did he model instead? He left organized religion (which his parents introduced him to) and spent years seeking.
He was not trying to establish “Christianity.” That fell to Paul who - more than anyone else - shaped “Christianity” into what it looks like today (which has nothing in common with Yeshu’a’s messaging).
When Yeshu'a finally came across some non-dual pointers, he began sharing those not in a synagogue or other “holy building” but in homes and outdoors, just as Maharaj did.
Thus, Yeshu’a said:
“When you speak of me, speak of me as I AM.”
“Before Abraham was, I AM.”
“No one shall ever see the kingdom of heaven - it is within.”
“Heaven and earth shall fade away.”
“Cleave a piece of wood and I am there; lift up the stone and you will find me there.”
“If you do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty and you are poverty.”
“I will give you what the eye has not seen, and what the ear has not heard, and what the hand has not touched, and what has not arisen in the heart of man.”
“If they say to you, ‘from where have you originated?’ say to them, ‘We have come from the light, where the light originated through itself’.”
“I AM light (i.e., ‘energy’).”
“If they ask you, ‘what is the sign of your father in you?’ say to them, ‘it is a movement and a rest’.”
“Whoever drinks from my mouth shall become as I AM and I myself will become he, and the hidden things shall be revealed to him.”
“It is impossible for a man to mount two horses and to stretch two bows; and it is impossible for a servant to serve two masters; otherwise, he will honor the one and offend the other.”
“When you make the two one, and when you make the inner as the outer and the outer as the inner, and the above as the below,
and
When you make the male and the female into a single one, so that the male will not be male and the female not be female, then shall you enter the kingdom.”
“I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword. I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”
“A man’s enemies will be the members of his household.”
“A dual-minded person is unstable in all ways.”
“If anyone comes to me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be my disciple.”

Objective witnessing will also reveal that the majority of those who are “adult age” will spend their entire existence behaving in childish ways.
Contrary to Paul’s false claim that
“When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things,”
Speaking as a child, understanding as a child, and thinking as a child are not age-related. There is magical time when one is suddenly free of child thoughts and words and actions.
That freedom comes not with “years lived” but with full realization.
