 "WISDOM" and "LOVE"

"Wisdom is knowing I am nothing. Love is knowing I am everything, and between the two my life moves.

Today we consider the implications behind the pointer, “Love is knowing I am everything.”

Note that Maharaj did not say, “I love everything” and he did not say, “I love everyone.” Thus, he’s obviously speaking about something quite different from what the masses speak of and about something that few will ever understand.

In fact, the so-called “realized” understand that “everything” is misperceived by the masses, from the brick discussed yesterday to the actors supposedly appearing on a screen, to a mirage seemingly appearing ahead in the road when driving through a desert on a hot, clear day at 3 PM in the afternoon.

The reality behind what is perceived to be a brick, an image on a screen, and a mirage is this: none of those, or anything else, is what it appears to be to the uninformed masses who are attached to their collection of false, learned ignorance, and the same applies to “love” which the masses speak of vs. “Love” which Maharaj spoke of in the quote above.

For the sake of discussion by “non-dualists,” the word “Love” (uppercase) can be taken as a term pointing to what can be called “Love” or “Real Love” which involves an understanding of the Oneness which is revealed with realization (which Maharaj defined simply as “being free of belief in all learned ignorance”).

The term “love” (lowercase) points to all of the various notions that the non-realized have about what love is or isn’t, all of which is relative nonsense and rooted in duality.

Again, as used in the quote above, both “wisdom” and “Love” are nouns. In non-duality, “Love” is not a verb. It cannot be said with any degree of truth, “I Love you.” What is said is “I love you” which, again, is based in duality.

So the quote above does not suggest that Maharaj Loves anyone or anything. It merely reports that he understands that what “he” presently is is a combination of plant food elements and air and conscious-energy which are temporarily working together as one entity. 

Though his skin had a darker tint that some of the Europeans who visited the loft, and though his skin had a lighter tint than some of the visitors who came from the African continent, he understood that “he” and “they” were "not two" but were one and the same, both comprised of the same elements and air and conscious-energy which form the temporarily-manifested composite unity which they all “were.”

Did the recognition of that fact mean that he “Loved” them? No, Love in non-dual discussions is a noun, not a verb. Did it mean that he (“A”) loved them ("B”)? Of course not.

Some among the uninformed equate the non-dual pointers about Love with their relative, inaccurate concept of love and end up living in a romanticized state of misunderstanding which leaves them abiding in a sort of “FooFoo Land” with their heads in the clouds and their feet never firmly planted on the ground, in reality.  

I have heard some of those types say, “I have to love Hitler.”

I have heard some religious persons say of criminal types who have harmed other humans, “Well, we must hate the sin but love the sinner.”

I have heard of more than one minister or priest who have told women who were being beaten by their spouses that it is their job to hold the family together and that they need to go home and love their spouses more and more to help them move beyond their desire to beat them.

I have heard others say, "We must love the religious fanatics who would overthrow a democracy and replace it with a theocracy. It's vital that we should respect all and respect their views, even when they differ from our own."

And several woman have come here to un-learn what they were taught by one claiming to be offering non-dual pointers but who merely took a quote from a recovery book (“acceptance is the answer to all my problems today”) and who -  in the way that so many addicts do - magnified that, exaggerated it, and recommended overdoing it and taking it to an out-of-touch-with-reality level.

One such woman told me that she had been told “in order to get past her anger and hurt and trauma of having been raped, she must learn to love the rape and love the rapist, just as we must love everyone else.” She was told that she should “invite the rapist to her home and prepare a meal for him and serve it to him.” And thousands of naive, gullible persons pay thousands of dollars to hear such nonsense and them return home and put themselves in danger by trying out that advice, advice which is pure, unadulterated BS.

Again, the verb form is “love” (lowercase) which is rooted in duality and is a driving force among the masses who misuse the word and who completely misunderstand what they are talking about. (Being dualistic in it nature, it is - necessarily - based in lies and distortions).

Wisdom and Love are not verbs, and it should be clear that a human cannot “wisdom” somebody or “wisdom” something and that a human cannot “Love” anyone or anything. Both are nouns naming a concept for the sake of discussion and neither can be used as a verb identifying an action.  

Having failed to understand that, huge numbers of seekers are joining religious people who order “You shall love our neighbor as yourself.”

So, was Jeffrey Dahmer your neighbor? Did you love him?

Was Ted Bundy your neighbor?Did you love him?

Is your neighbor a member of a white supremacist group or a Nazi group who advocates for the murder of all blacks and Hispanics in this country? So do you love them?

Is your neighbor one of the most extreme members of the Christian Reconstructionists who follow the teachings of Rousas John Rushdoony;

who advocate for the overthrow of the government; who are Christian nationalists and political activists; who have gone mainstream and are now praised for conducting the National Prayer Breakfast annually (which is attended by all politicians who want to continue in their positions of power);

who aim to establish an American theocracy; and who propose that the Constitution be replaced by the laws in the ancient Jewish writings?

So do you believe that you must love Hitler, Dahmer, Bundy, white supremacists, and religious nationalist fanatics who would destroy a democracy in order to replace it with a theocracy?

Is your teacher advising you to love the man who raped you and to now serve him?Are you buying into that?

The love which the masses speak of is totally dualistic, being nothing more than a Subject-Object paradigm involving not an “A” alone but involving an “A” and a “B” as in “I love you.” Anytime an “A” and a “B” are supposedly in a “relationship” (a duality-based concept in itself) they can speak of love but will likely never understand non-dual Love.

The type of love as practiced by the masses - trapped as they are and driven by their dualistic, separatist beliefs and (per Maharaj) trapped in and driven by “ignorance, stupidity and insanity – has far-reaching consequences.

In the U.S., 59% of all women killed annually are killed during a “relationship breakup” when they tell a mate or fiancé or spouse that they are leaving. 

It was written that “love is a many splendored thing,” but as practiced by the masses, it can be a many splintered thing.

It would behoove the masses to be able to understand the difference in the “Love” which Maharaj spoke of vs. the “love” that they believe in. Any chance of that happening? Not likely.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
