CAUSATION and RELATIVE EVENTS AND BEHAVIORS:
“Evil?” or “Ignorance, Stupidity, and Insanity”?
To continue with other similarities in the Ultimate Sickness and viruses:
Many sicknesses among humans (actually “composite unities”) can result in insanity-like symptoms: A.D.D., A.D.H.D., dementia / Alzheimer’s Disease, Neurocognitive Disorders, etc.
The results are that - as happened with certain relatives who reached an advanced age and experienced some of those cognitive disorders - led to their no longer recognizing me, led to their not knowing who they were, led to difficulty reasoning, led to inappropriate behaviors, and led to hallucinations.
Such is the case with all who suffer from the Ultimate Sickness. How sick does one have to be in order to exhibit the symptoms some of my elderly relatives experienced? Pretty sick.
But Maharaj changed his message after he stop offering dogma-based and spirituality-based pointers and focused on the mind-centered aspects of the Ultimate Sickness.
In the end he said that it did not matter if seekers ever found the answer to “Who am I, really?” More significantly, he said, “It is enough to know who you are not.”
The various forms of the Covid virus do not know who or what they are, but they do know they want to survive. Throw a vaccine at them to attack them and they will mutant into a different version which is impervious to those vaccines and then move right back to spreading sickness in a stronger, variant form.
Next, one with a basic understanding of psychology will be able to understand certain key pointers offered by Maharaj, including . . .
how parents and relatives and cultures assign to children multiple personality identifications with various traits and how, later, the adoption of scores of false identities continues throughout “adulthood.”
Perceived identities can change throughout one’s relative existence:
“the employee” might disappear if one is fired from a job or “the spouse” might disappear when one is sued for a divorce.
Similarly, viruses have certain characteristics with their own “personal” or “individualized” traits which can come with one variant, then disappear while new traits show up in a subsequent variant.
Yet there is a divergence as well: when a virus mutates, that mutation is driven by a response to an “attack” by outside forces. Once the consciousness within the virus recognizes a vulnerable part to a vaccine, it will consciously jettison that part of itself and will form a varied replacement which is stronger.
To that end, a typical virus is usually far wiser than a typical human. When humans have a part within that is generating personality disorders and neuroses and psychoses, it will nevertheless do everything possible to safeguard that part and maintain it, thus rendering the human weaker, not stronger.
For example, if a Type Six Dependent and Co-dependent Personality Type has a spouse that is physically abusing that Six, the Six’s weakness will often inspire that spouse to cling to “The Wife” role or “The Husband” role to maintain whatever “perks” are being perceived, including a societal image, financial support, help raising children, whatever.
Pain is of the body. Misery and suffering are of the mind and the personalities / personas stored therein; therefore, the same can happen if a Six’s employment is subjecting that Six to harassment, abuse, degradation, etc.
Personality-generated fear will result in unjustified tolerance. Desires and fears are the source of all misery and suffering.
Rather than doing what a wise virus will do and reject anything and everything which can make it weaker, humans fight to hang onto false identities or personality traits which are leading to misery and suffering and relative harm.
Humans treat their addiction dependencies in the same way.
They also embrace and defend their dependencies on religious leaders and spiritual leaders and political leaders in the same fashion.
Maharaj on dependency:
“To me, dependence on anything for happiness is utter misery”
and
“The cause of suffering is dependence; independence is the remedy.”
and
“What is pure, unalloyed, unattached, is real. What is tainted, mixed up, dependent and transient is unreal”
and
“Real happiness is not vulnerable because it is not dependent on circumstances.”
Maharaj on personality:
“The personality is but a product of imagination. You are the victim of this imagination. It is the taking yourself to be what you are not that binds you”
and
“It is not you who desires, fears and suffers. It is the personality built on the foundation of your body by circumstances and influences”
and
“Your burden is of false self-identification; abandon all identifications”
and
“As you are now, the personality is only an obstacle”
and
“All that a guru can tell you is: ‘You are quite mistaken about yourself. You are not the person you take yourself to be’.”
