“Evil?” or “Ignorance, Stupidity, and Insanity”?
Ignorant and Insane Assignments of Causation
[Continued from yesterday]
“Most humans have no understanding at all about the way that personality-agenda-controlled interests cause them to think what they think, to say what they say, and to do what they do;
so, how could they possibly have even the slightest clue about what has caused - and continues to cause - any and all happenings in this universe?
They cannot. Yet the masses sleepwalk through every day of their relative lives assigning blame or cause and then forming resentments and hatred for ‘the other’ whom they blame for all of their troubles and for all of the troubles of humankind.
That’s ultimate ignorance at play. That’s ultimate insanity at play.”

Insanity is evidenced by the fact that the insane masses cannot differentiate between true and false. As a result, they cannot differentiate between reality and myth; between reality and superstition;
between fact and fiction; between roles being played vs. what
is happening outside “The Theater of the Lie”; and between the unity and their perceived
multiplicities.
The insanity of ego, in its extreme, often manifests as the Sociopathic
Personality Disorder and / or the Psychopathic Personality Disorder, both of
which support unrestrained arrogance and limitless entitlement, all steeped in
duality and all generating such beliefs as:
“I have the right to take everything we own and leave.”
“I have the right to decide who is moral and who is not.”
“I have the right to control people I live with, work with, meet in traffic,
encounter in stores . . . in fact, I have the right to control everyone.”
“I have the right to decide which single religion is the right one, making
clear that all of the other religions are the wrong ones.”
“As a lawmaker, I have the right to vote the way that my financial supporters
want me to vote, not the way that the majority of the people want me to vote.”
“I have the right to have sex with whomever I choose, even if I must rape to
get it.”
“I have the right to decide who lives and who dies.”
Relatively speaking, there is not a more lethal combination on the planet than
(a) the Sociopathic or Psychopathic Personality Disorder combined with (b)
unchecked arrogance and boundless entitlement.
Note: A sociopath's personality disorder inspires antisocial behavior; a
psychopath is a person who also has the antisocial personality disorder, but
the disorder manifests in a way that is marked by aggressive, perverted, or
criminal behavior without any empathy or remorse at all.
And the prerequisite for those and all disorders is personality. If there is no
false identity / personality at play, then there can be no sociopathic or
psychopathic behavior, there can be no arrogance, there can be no sense of
entitlement, there can be no bombing of crowds, there can be no slaughter of
children, and there can be no bombing of other nations while bragging about the
fact that your military is going to “shock and awe” the people of another
nation (that is, a nation of “others”).
Again, Maharaj said, “After the information given to you by the mother, that
you are a boy or girl, all your further acquisitions are but hearsay.”
It is those persona-based “further acquisitions” that set the stage for all
insane thoughts; moreover; insane thoughts lead to insane words, and it is from
insane words (including the ones that happen when personas “speak”) that insane
deeds evolve.
Thus, the point again: whatever one might take to be “the ills of the planet
and its people,” the ills all fall not under the over-simplified umbrella of “good
vs. evil” but under the umbrella of the Ultimate Sickness.
Moreover, those that understand the roots of that Sickness
know that “the ills” are not caused by one thing (namely, “evil”) but are
caused by all things. The cause of all is . . . all.
Non-dual teachers have, at times, assigned mantras to seekers, all of which
were to be taken into silent contemplation along with any and all pointers
received, and the most frequently-assigned non-dual mantra came with the
instruction to “stay with the I AM.”
Why? Following the words “I am” with any word or words does not generate “evil”;
instead, following the words “I am” with any word or words generates what
Maharaj called “ignorance” and “stupidity” and “insanity.”
To follow “I am” with any word is to reinforce a false
identity, and false identities (personalities) - in turn - will support not
only “ignorance” and “stupidity” and “insanity” but also every possible
personality disorder that exists.
To follow “I am” with any word, therefore, can also reinforce the Sociopathic
Personality Disorder and / or the Psychopathic Personality Disorder as well as
unrestrained arrogance and limitless entitlement.
It also leads to upgrading and downgrading, which sets the stage for a sense of
“different from-ment” and “better-than-ment” (which can then be used to judge
persons and all “others” from different parts of the city or the nation or the
globe or all “others” who have a different appearance or a different
religion).
The result: assumed personas are upgraded and then generate chaos, including
the personas revealed in such beliefs as:
“I am the Super Spouse.”
“I am the Super Christian Who Has Been Told by My Holy Book That My Job Is to
Spread My Beliefs to 'the Four Corners of the Earth.”
“I am the Super Muslim Who Has Been Told That My Job Is to Assure That Everyone
Follows the Teachings of Islam.”
“I am the Super Reformer Who Will Not Leave People Alone But Who Must Change
Everyone Instead.”
“I am a Citizen of the Greatest Country on Earth So I Have the Right to Make
the Rest of the World Accept Our Economic System, Our Political System, Our
Main Religion, Our Way of Doing Business, Our Lifestyle, Our Philosophy, and
Our Ideology . . . or Pay One Hell of a Price For Not Doing So.”
“I Am The Super Lawman Who will Make Everyone Pay If They Do Not Follow My Laws.”
“I am the Super Avenger Who Has the Right to Kill Those Whose Beliefs Are Not
Aligned with My Beliefs.”
“I Am the Super Jihadist.”
“I Am The Loser Who Is Ignored and Who Will Do Something So Dramatic That No
One Will Ever Ignore Me Again.”
“I am the No-Name Nobody, but I Will Do Something That Will Result in My Name
Being Known by Everyone When I Become the Greatest Mass Murderer in History.”
I am The One Who Has Been Bullied At School So I Am The One
Who Has The Right To Go Into The School And Kill Everyone I Cross Paths With,
Whether They Were Among My Bullies Or Not.”
“I Am The Good Ole Boy Who Wants My Country Back and I Am Willing to Attack
Anyone Who Stands in the Way.”
“I am the Angry Religious Person Who Does Not Really Adhere to the Teachings of
My Religion But Who Will Strike Out at Others Who Are Different From Me.”
See, it's the insanity of ego and egotism, not “evil.”
What persons deem to be a result of “the evil in the world” or “the evil forces
at play” or “the evil generated by Satan” or “the evil that children are
sometimes born with that must be exorcised” does not exist.
The concept of “evil” is one part of the dreamed-up
dualistic lie of “good vs. evil,” and what is “evil” is being defined by the
most arrogant on the planet who have assumed personas, who believe that they
are among “the good,” and who believe that all “others” who are different from
them are “evil.”
Again, the advice from Maharaj to those who assume imaginary personas as real
identities and then allow imaginary things to control and drive their thoughts
and words and actions:
“There is no such thing as a person.”
“See that you are not what you believe yourself to be.”
“Fight with all the strength at your disposal against the idea that you are
nameable and describable. You are not.”
“Refuse to think of yourself in terms of this or that.”
“There is no other way out of misery, which you have created for yourself
through blind acceptance without investigation.”
Suffering is a call for enquiry . . . . ”
