CAUSATION and RELATIVE EVENTS AND BEHAVIORS:
“Evil?” or “Ignorance, Stupidity, and Insanity”?
A REVIEW OF THE KEY POINTERS REGARDING THE DUALISTIC BELIEF IN “GOOD” VS. “EVIL”

Yesterday we left off with this:
180. There is no person. That which is taken to be a person is a triad consisting of (1) an elemental plant food body, circulating (2) air and housing temporarily-manifested (3) conscious-energy within the space.
181. Can the elements of an elemental plant food body be a person or be evil? No. Can the air be a person or be evil? No. Can the conscious-energy be a person or be evil? No.
To continue:
182. Can the consciousness be blocked from seeing truth and therefore believe that which is false as a result of programming, conditioning, domestication, acculturation, brainwashing, and indoctrination? Yes.
183. Can the blocked consciousness then accumulate beliefs? Yes.
184. Can the accumulated beliefs include the belief that one actually is a person and that assumed and assigned personas are actual identities? Yes.
185. Can assumed personas or ego-states emote? That is, can their hidden desires and hidden fears generate emoting and emotional intoxication? Yes.
186. Can the emotion of fear manifest as subsets of fear that include anger, hatred, loathing, revulsion, and disgust? Yes.
187. Are those rooted in ignorance? Yes. Can they inspire stupid and / or insane behaviors? Yes.
188. Is there a person that could be deemed an ignorant person, a stupid person, or an insane person? No. Consider the parts of the triad that are mistaken for persons (the elements, the air, the conscious-energy) and then determine:
189. Can the elements be ignorant elements, stupid elements, or insane elements? No. Can the air be ignorant air, stupid air, or insane air? No. Can the conscious-energy be ignorant energy, stupid energy, or insane energy? No. Can that energy be blocked or warped? Yes.
190. The point: only personas / ego-states can emote and be driven by emotional intoxication which generates fear, anger, hatred, loathing, revulsion, and disgust. The True Self can only witness.
191. So ego-states emote; the “real self’ witnesses. (Note: the term “the real self” can only be used for the sake of discussion; otherwise, anything dealing with “self-ness” or “Self-ness” is another false concept dreamed up by humans.
The “real self” can refer for the sake of discussion to nothing more than the temporarily-manifested consciousness that, if pure (that is, if not blocked and warped) is Pure Witnessing. Note: The True Self is not the “Pure Witness.” Again, that implies the deceit of personage.
192. Because human / triads are manifested for a finite period of time, there is no “Eternal Self” or “Infinite Self” or “Endless” Self. What is forever is energy / matter. The elements are forever, the air is forever, and energy is forever. But no triad is forever, and no self or Self is forever.
193. The irony is that all of the chaos of the planet is a result of mirages, of the near-limitless false identities that can be assumed or assigned and that are taken to be real.
194. Once taken to be real, they will drive all thoughts and words and actions. It is not evil that is driving thoughts and words and actions; it is delusion, distortion, the inability to differentiate true from false, the ability to believe that false identities are real, and the belief that the agendas of false identities are significant and must be acted upon.
195. Hence, the Boston bombers, one of whom left a note written with a marker on the interior wall of the boat where he was hiding. The content proclaimed, among other things, that the bombings were retribution for U.S. actions in Iraq and Afghanistan;
that the Boston victims were “collateral damage,” using the same term first used by the U.S. to describe “the innocent bystanders who happen to die when terrorists are being killed”;
the note also said that “when you attack one Muslim, you attack all Muslims”; the note included the words “Fuck America”; the note said that his brother was a martyr who was, therefore, with Allah in paradise and that he would soon be joining him there; and the note explained that the attack was payback for hits on Muslims.
196. None of those beliefs could be believed - and none of the actions that evolved from those beliefs could have happened - without the bombers having first assumed and / or been assigned many false personas / false identifications.
197. Their false identities included: “Members of the Right Religion”; “Worshippers of Allah and Mohammed”; “The Ones Who Are Following the One True Faith”; “The Avengers of Wrongs Against Muslims”;
“Muslims As Opposed to All Others”; “The Two Who Recognize the Oneness of All Muslims But Not the Oneness of All, Period”; “The One From 'That' Country And Not From 'This' Country”;
and
“The Ones Guaranteed To Be With Allah Forever If We Die Killing Members of Other Religions.”
[Note: before members of others religions - such as Christianity - become arrogant and prideful and defensive and judgmental about Muslims, note that Christians have killed far more people in their two-thousand-year history than the members of all other religions combined.]
198. That which the “brothers were” - actually elemental plant food bodies circulating air and housing blocked and warped conscious-energy - could not be evil; instead, they were specks of blocked and warped consciousness that were driven by their assumed and assigned personas, mere mirages that nevertheless behaved insanely. Why?
That happened as a result of the nonsensical programming and conditioning and acculturation and domestication and brainwashing and indoctrination that made the blocked and warped consciousness believe the lie that their assumed and assigned identities were real and that their personas' agendas had to be met.
199. Just because persons are paranoid does not mean that there might not really be someone out to harm them physically, and just because Maharaj made clear that there is no such thing as karma does not mean that cause and effect is suspended on a planet where ignorance and stupidity and insanity prevail.
200. Therefore, if the leaders of a nation, for example the U.S., come up with a term such as “collateral damage” that minimizes the effects of their warlike actions on the citizens of other nations, there should be no surprise when the citizens of other nations engage in warlike actions and then minimize the effects of their actions on, for example, U.S. citizens and then classify the killed and maimed persons as “collateral damage.”
201. Insanity breeds insanity. Duality breeds duality. And duality breeds a sense of “us” and “them” that will always generate an “us vs. them” mentality when personas are assumed and inspire fear, as personas always do.
202. For any species to survive in the healthiest fashion
possible, the strongest must breed with the strongest. That is NATURAL
selection. Among most humans, the process has now been abandoned and replaced
with a shallow, bastardized version which has become “UNNATURAL selection.”
203. For example, some people are marrying based solely on physical appearance
and a “lizard brain” reaction”; in other cases, couples report that they
married after meeting in a “recovery program,” admitting that the attraction
was to what they had in common. Such as:
they were “both sick” and both wanting to “get well together”
(as if the best partner for someone dying of cancer would be someone else who
is also dying of cancer?) Some marry for money, to snag a caretaker. How are
any of the examples of “unnatural selection” working, long-term?)
204. Humans also engage in a shallow, bastardized version of what has become “SUPERNATURAL
selection,” so persons stuck at the third step on the seven-step “path” to
Realization will need to find a partner who is as religious as they are; or who
is as spiritual as they are;
or who is as deeply embroiled in spiritual workaholism as
they are; or who is as concerned with being a “better, really good, even really
great person.” That way they can “grow together.” Right.
205. The Nisarga Yoga take on all this: humans strive to move up any number of
hierarchies for all sorts of “personal,” ego-and-egotism-based and fear-based
reasons. Their motives are superficial; in nature, deer have no motives, no
hidden agendas, and no “personal” goals;
they function naturally, based in the innate, instinctive drives that determine what they do as a result of their thirst drive and their hunger drive and their sex drive.
206. Having no “minds,” they cannot become so warped that they fight for the
sake of fighting, kill for the sake of revenge, kill for the sake of
controlling others, kill for the sake of defending an assumed persona, kill
because of religious beliefs, or kill for the sake of winning some delusional,
ego-and-egotism-inspired competition.
207. Moreover, persons abiding under the influence of personality do what they
are driven to do and to say what they are driven to say. They are not choosing
anything consciously.
The insanity of that is that they are driven by false identities, by mirages, and the result is insane thoughts and insane words and insane actions.
