The Preponderance of Evidence Is In: Insanity Reigns

It was mentioned recently that George Bernard Shaw was once asked if he thought there might be life on other planets. His reply was that he was certain that there had to be life on other planets because people there are obviously using earth as their insane asylum.

Mark Twain observed that "the way it is now, the asylums can hold the sane people, but if we tried to shut up the insane, we should run out of building materials"

and

"Really, what we want now is not laws against crime, but a law against insanity. That is where the true evil lies"

and

"Once, I talked to the inmates of an insane asylum in Hartford. I have talked to idiots a thousand times, but only once to the insane."

Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj said, "This is our stupidity, verging on insanity."

When does "Going Crazy" begin? It begins when language develops and allows a child to be exposed to the contagion - to the source of The Ultimate Sickness - specifically, to the virus of faulty programming, to the cancer of totally nonsensical conditioning, to the infection of warping domestication, to the potentially-fatal disease of acculturation, to the contamination of indoctrination, and to the malady of brainwashing.

The Sickness continues, in most cases, throughout the entire manifestation of consciousness. In some few cases, treatment for the effects of personality disorders is sought; is some cases, hospitalization provides an opportunity for clinically-diagnosable insanity to be treated;

and in some cases, the Advaitic, non-dual teachings provide a new understanding that ends distortion and delusions and belief in illusions and untruths, lead to clear perspectives, and allow the restoration of sanity to happen.

Sometimes cases are so severe that the need for a combination of many approaches is indicated.

When does "Going Sane" begin? When one is totally ready to discard belief in lies; when one is ready to take each comment made and is willing to pause long enough to turn it around 180-degrees so that the statement points more toward the true than the false;

when one is willing to ask: "Is it possible that everything I have ever been taught or told or now believe is false?"; when one is willing to seek the Truth; and when one is willing to search until he / she finds a teacher that has traveled the same "path" from going crazy to going sane and can point the way to those who would travel it now.

Otherwise, there will be no relief from personality disorders and insanity, and there will be no avoiding the chaos that follows attaching to, and dealing with, others who are suffering from their personality disorders and varying degrees of insanity. Can you relate?

Was there a time when you found "the man or woman of your dreams," only to see later that the person was really "the man or woman of your screams"? Have you known certain persons whom you thought were wise but who later proved to be insane?

Have you defended and even idealized those who exerted the earliest influence upon you and who placed in your mind some of the most outrageous beliefs and ideas and concepts imaginable? Have you denied that is what actually happened?

Have you ever had someone flow into your life in a way that seemed at the time to be like a smooth, gentle, tepid wave rolling calmly toward the shore of a warm-water beach, only to find later that your life with that person was generating all of the chaos of a Category Five Hurricane, ruthlessly ripping a path of discordant destruction through your relative existence that was nothing at all like a gentle wave but that was far more like a devastating storm surge?

Have you experienced how very difficult it can be nowadays to be able to separate the rarely-found cases of "sane human wheat" from the now-far-more-frequent-than-ever cases of "insane human chaff"?

A Modest Consideration: Is It "They" Alone Who Are Insane?

Or worse, have you ever crossed over and joined one in his / her insanity, as has happened with so many who have written or who have come here over the years seeking assistance, having been driven by one motive or another to tolerate the intolerable, often as a result of a desire to cling to "my better lifestyle" or some other equally senseless agenda?

Have you played the justification-rationalization-blame game after being verbally or mentally or emotionally or physically accosted by an out-of-control or even insane partner? Have you set up permanent residence in a place where the sane would not even visit?

Have you ever been like the woman whose husband called his blows against her body "mere love taps," blows which she tolerated because she lied to herself and concluded that she was the one who always caused him to lash out at her while also coming up with the distorted view that "if he didn't truly care, he couldn't get so emotional, so doesn't that passionate furor show that he really does have a feeling of love for me"?

(And does her Christian belief in a male God that can love her unconditionally but can also cast her into a pit where she will suffer physically from being burned forever - and will also suffer mentally and emotionally as well - make it easier for her to accept that a husband causing her physical and mental and emotional pain also loves her?)

In that case, she adopted his insanity rather than disowning it outright. As a result, she has been reduced - after twenty years of exposure to that madman's personality disorders and insanity - to little more than collateral damage to his volatile condition that detonates one explosive rage-bomb after another.

Have you ever denied reality in that same fashion? Have you tolerated the intolerable, relatively speaking? Have you figuratively hung an "Insanity Welcome" sign on your life? Have you seen (in terms of your partner selections) that your so-called "choices" were being driven by the use of a broken picker? Have you become a "Maniac Magnet"?

Did your peace take its final departure so long ago that you cannot recall any of its now-long-gone pleasures? Has your mind aligned with a partner's distorted mind and become an endlessly-revolving carousel of motion that preempts any chance for harmony and stillness to manifest at all?

Have you had a long-standing appointment with serenity that you have not kept for so long that you now have no hope at all that you will ever be able to reschedule? It need not be. You need not suffer from personality disorders and insanity, and you need not suffer from being affected by the disorders and insanity of "others."

The message here is this: you need not suffer for even another second as a result of enduring and accepting that which is totally unacceptable, namely, a relative existence in which you are overwhelmed by personality disorders and insanity and instability or by the personality disorders and insanity and instability of persons around you.

 You can begin this second to alter the course of the rest of your relative existence.

THE EXPLANATION

If looked at as nouns, they point to illusions and are, therefore, a total waste of time to even discuss; if looked at as verbs which are resulting in certain sane but rare behaviors among humanity, then they are worthy of some attention during the relative existence.

Meaning? There are members of certain groups who say things such as "My concept of god in the past was of a weak god, an absentee god, A Santa Claus-type god, a mean, punishing, vindictive god, etc. Today, I am in close contact with a loving and caring god whom I worship and praise and glorify and give thanks to."

The reply to that usually goes like this: "If you are in contact with a god that wants to be worshipped and praised and glorified, then you're dealing with someone like yourself - a narcissist - and hanging out with narcissists will never bring an end to your narcissism (that narcissism evidenced by the fact that you think you are "godly").

Next, in the phrase 'loving and caring god,' any supposed god that truly had her or his act together would tell you that the totally irrelevant part of that phrase is 'god' and that the only part that is relevant is the "loving and caring" part.

"That is, a non-narcissistic their god / their goddess would say, "I care not an iota about being worshipped and praised and glorified by you or anyone else. How arrogant and insecure and needy would I have to be to want that? Forget the man-made, dreamed up noun 'god' and focus on the 'god as a verb' understanding and then go forth and let loving and caring be verbs - not adjectives - and let them generate the act of love and the act of caring and let those actions manifest through you." 

Yeshu'a (Jesus) and Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis were spot on:

"No one shall ever see 'the kingdom of heaven.' It is within"

and 

"Heaven and earth shall fade away."

--Yeshu'a (Jesus)

and 

"Heaven and hell are not geographic places

but are states of mind, nothing more than

concepts dreamed up by men."

--Pope John Paul II 

"There is no hell."

--Pope Francis, the current pope

in an interview with journalist Eugenio Scalfari,

a writer used by the Pope to issue off the record

teachings which become a part of the Papal Magisterium.

[That said, would that the popes who have shown the courage to reject a core concept of their dogma - namely, "hell" - would find the additional courage required to question the very existence of their institution in light of the centuries-long cover-up of their history of raping children and in light of the mental and emotional and psychological scarring of billions of their members past and present.

And that need for courage also applies as questions need to be asked about why so many other sky cults are still being supported and allowed to continue to exist as well. When certain types of programming and conditioning have been shown to blind the masses, they should end. Will they? Not likely. Why?

Because what the masses think and say and do is most influenced by the international crime families which hold sway over the masses as criminals conduct their planet-wide operations. What are the major international crime families and which are the most influential and have the largest memberships?

The Mafia / La Cosa Nostra; the Catholic Church (with it 1.2 billion followers) whose Vatican Bank worked for decades with the Mafia while laundering mob earnings (for a 15% all-profit charge by the Bank); Protestant and Evangelical Churches (with over 1.2 billion followers) like the one I was raised in where the youth director molested and sexually assaulted young girls; big business which has long created environments in which people have been abused; powerful political bodies like the U.S. Congress, etc., etc., etc.)

With all of those crime families, neither the followers nor the leadership ever voluntarily step down or shut down their criminal activities. Be they gangs, organized crime families, religions, big business, politicians, etc., they all want control and they all want power and they all want money, and nothing internal will interfere with the driving forces at play.

The masses must demand that all those in charge must step down and their groups and institutions must shut down, and there's the real problem because the continuation of their crimes are enabled not as much by the people running such crime organizations as they are enabled by the masses of people who - wanting some perceived "payoff" - remain involved with them and give them money and support them and aid and abet the continued existence of those criminal enterprises and thus facilitate the ability of church criminals and political criminals and other types of criminals to continue to commit their crimes.]
