WHY MAHARAJ ABANDONED RELIGIOUS AND SPIRITUAL VERSIONS OF THE ULTIMATE MEDICINE AND TURNED HIS FOCUS TO PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALING INSTEAD
Consider the way that personality sets the stage for disintegration that can move a person through levels of mental and emotional deterioration, moving from mild to average to serious personality-related problems.
The Enneagram Institute explained how one type can move from being psychically healthy at some point and then developing a full-blown case of the Sociopathic Personality:
At a certain level, the following is observable:
Self-sufficiency, financial independence, and having enough resources are important concerns among sociopaths: they become enterprising, pragmatic, "rugged individualists," wheeler-dealers. They engage in risk-taking and hard work and denying their own emotional needs.
Their ego hates the silence. By this point, Personality Type Eight Sociopaths become noisy. Because thought precedes both words and actions, then the ego-dominated “mind” can tolerate neither the stillness nor the silence.
As disintegration continues, the following can be seen:
Sociopaths begin to dominate their environment, including others. They want to feel that others are behind them, supporting their efforts. They become swaggering, boastful, forceful, and expansive: the "boss" whose word is law. They are excessively proud, egocentric, and want to impose their will and vision on everything, not seeing others as equals or treating them with respect.
Later, the following can be witnessed:
They become highly combative and intimidating in order to get their way. They become confrontational and belligerent, creating adversarial relationships. Everything is a test of wills, and they will not back down. They use threats and reprisals to get obedience from others, to keep others off balance and insecure. However, unjust treatment makes others fear and resent them, possibly also band together against them.
As even more psychic unhealthiness manifests, the following can be witnessed:
Defying any attempt to control them, they become completely ruthless and dictatorial, convinced that "might makes right." They become the criminal and outlaw, the renegade, and the con-artist. They are hard-hearted, immoral and potentially violent.
As more disintegration occurs, the following can be seen:
They develop delusional ideas about their power, invincibility, and ability to prevail. They develop megalomania, feeling omnipotent and invulnerable. They recklessly over-extend themselves.
Finally, this state of extremely serious disintegration can happen:
If they get in danger, they may brutally destroy everything that has not conformed to their will rather than surrender to anyone else. They are extremely vengeful, barbaric, and murderous.
Another definition of insanity is this: not being able to tell the true from the false. Some people intentionally lie. That does not mean they are insane. Some people pass on the lies that they were told without ever checking to see if what they were told - and what they are telling - is true or false.
That form of prevarication might evidence ignorance more than insanity, except when what they are passing on is totally nonsensical.
Back to the definition of "insanity." One definition explains that insanity involves "extreme foolishness and / or irrationality; a state of serious mental illness; or, a state of total madness."
At best, passing on nonsense is foolish, the mildest form of insanity according to some definitions.
But the masses are prepared to accept - without any questioning and based in blind faith only - the foolishness which they are told and the lies and the mythical and superstitious nonsense and nonsensical dogma which is passed down.
Last Friday, 2.3 billion people celebrated what they believe was a virgin birth. The guess is that 99.9% of those 2.3 billion Christians believe that their savior was born of a virgin while not having a clue that “the Virgin Mary” - whom many of them also worship - was not the first to make such a claim.
In fact, at the time, her claim that her child-later-to-be-a-savior was conceived via the process of parthenogenetic (no-physical-sex) fertilization made her the 23rd to make such an assertion.
And - as was the case with many others - her child was conceived out of wedlock and she knew that she was likely to be stoned to death if she did not come up with her tale of virgin birth.
Berwyn Lewis explained it this way:
Thoughts [recently] turned to a famous baby on Wednesday. He was [said to have been] conceived through parthenogenesis, a sort of asexual fertilisation process which avoids messy exchanges of bodily fluids and can lead to a virgin birth by a woman. It also avoids troubling questions of paternity.
History is littered with parthenogenesis or virgin births and they’re not all miraculous. [He noted that there’s] nothing new about virgin births. History is littered with them.
A virgin rollcall might include Romulus and Remus, twin founders of Rome, born of the virgin Rhea Silvia. In ancient Egypt, Ra (the Sun) was born of a virgin mother, Net. Horus was the son of the virgin Isis.
The Phrygo-Roman god, Attis, was born of a virgin, Nana, on December 25. It resonates because he went on to be killed and was resurrected.
In ancient Greece, Dionysos was the son of either the virgin Semele or the virgin Persephone. Persephone was also the virgin mother of Jason. And Plato’s mother, Perictione, was a virgin.
The list goes on. Hinduism, Buddhism and ancient China all have their share of them and none is more or less believable than any other myth, fable or symbol.
Virgin births are all about the hymen, a membrane, and whether or not it is intact.
But there’s a dark underbelly to virgin-birth stories. Claims of divine intervention aside, virgin births may have a more human explanation - a tragic demonstration of the extreme measures women have been forced to take to save themselves and their reputations.
Consider: Over 2.0 billion humans on this planet believe there is such a thing as virgin birth. Over 1.8 billion Muslims believe that when men die and go to heaven, they will be given seventy-two virgins, thousands of whores, and thousands of wives, all wired and ready to satisfy the men sexually for eternity.
If nearly 4 billion humans can buy into those claims, what other outlandish pronouncements would billions NOT also believe in if such pronouncements were presented as part and parcel of a religion’s teachings?
The “dark underbelly” of humanity is the “ignorance, stupidity, and insanity” which Maharaj explained is near-universal among the human masses on planet earth who are contaminated with the Ultimate Sickness but which most have no clue at all that they have contracted, passed down to them by other older humans.
What would be the 180-degree opposite reaction (as discussed yesterday) to accepting such nonsensical claims as truth? How about this?
“The one we worship as our savior was born of a virgin.”
Bullshit.
“In our heaven, every man gets 72 virgins and a lot of whores and wives.”
Bullshit.
