WHY MAHARAJ ABANDONED RELIGIOUS AND SPIRITUAL VERSIONS OF THE ULTIMATE MEDICINE AND TURNED HIS FOCUS TO PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALING INSTEAD
As
usual, when reference is made to one of “the new perspectives” which came
post-realization (specifically, that in the entire multi-billion-year history
of this universe or in the multi-million-year history of this planet that there
is no truth at all to the rumors that anyone or anything has ever been born or
ever died) emails clog the inbox here.
A few of those lost in the dream of the planet - along with being lost in the
belief that their dreamed-up dogma is fact - will write. That happens in spite
of the fact that it is still a mystery as to why those types continue to visit
this site (other than to try to "reform" this speck and to share
their learned knowledge / ignorance). Though a few stop by to let this speck
know how wrong the view is here, most of the correspondence comes from seekers
that are inquiring sincerely.
Many
around the globe just celebrated one particular “birth” specifically. The typical
argument I’ve heard for decades is this: “Floyd, over two billion people just
celebrated that event, and it was a “birth” we were celebrating. When you have
two billion people who all believe the same thing, two billion people cannot
all be wrong, you dumbass!”
They are all operating from their entrapment in the darkest depths of the ignorance
which was passed along to all of them via programming, conditioning, etc.;
thus, they are hearing for the first time the "no-birth, no death" understanding,
heard after being subjected to years of having been programmed to believe in
the validity of invalid timelines that supposedly measure their
"lifetimes" along a continuum from "birth" to
"childhood" to "the teen years" to "adulthood" to
"death" to "judgment" to "eternal reward" or
"eternal punishment."
The no-birth, no-death understanding is simple if one were to first bend the
ends of the line upward and connect them at a point that would allow what was
formerly a line to assume the shape of a circle.
Then, the circle could represent the cycles that have recurred throughout the
history of the planet. With the exception of a few asteroids and such that have
entered the earth's atmosphere, there has been a net-zero gain and a net-zero
loss as far as matter on this planet is concerned.
The only other thing penetrating the atmosphere has been one wave of energy
after another. As noted in "Perspective
#184" in the book A Different Perspective via the Non-Duality
Teachings and the Nisarga Yoga, scientist Szent-Gyorgyi said,
“What drives life is . . . a little electric current, set up by the sunshine.”
That
covers the energy part. As far as the matter part goes, though, nothing
for the most part has been added and nothing has been lost. Matter has merely
cycled.
In the case of the trillions upon trillions of human forms which have
"come and gone," and in the case of the multi-trillions upon
multi-trillions of other forms that have "come and gone," those forms
or spaces all happened spontaneously as existing matter - not new matter -
merely cycled.
The scientific "Laws of Thermodynamics" make clear that what comes
together shall come apart. Elements have come together to form the body called "floyd"
by some. Not only will those elements not stay together post-manifestation,
they are not even staying together now.
Years ago, the daughter called "Ashley" saw this body as it helped
her relocate to Houston after being transferred from her employer's Austin
office. The next night, she saw this body again when she invited it to a
Houston restaurant for a meal.
Yet the body she saw that night was not the same body she had seen a month
before. During the previous 28 days - as during every 28-day period throughout
the entire manifestation of this body - the outer layer of skin cells covering it
have all cycled in and cycled out.
Some of the elements that had come together a month before (after plant cells
were consumed and after they had converted into other types of
"human" cells - including skin cells) had already come apart in the
intervening month.
The body that was seen last night was not the same body that was seen a month
ago. So much for the rumors regarding continuity of the body-mind-personality
triad, rumors that have been spread around the globe for thousands of years
from pulpits and lecterns or from special rugs or from "holy"
platforms or from bimahs and bemas and minbars.
The triad focused on here is the triad of "the composite unity,"
which refers to an elemental, plant food body + the air / breath that cycles
into and out of that space + the temporarily-manifested consciousness.
There is no continuity to the form resulting from temporarily-combined
elements, as shown in the discussion of skin cells; there is obviously no
continuity of the air within the body, different quantities of oxygen coming
and going; and there is not even any continuity of the specks of
conscious-energy that also come and go. All is cycling.
(If only one quantity of conscious-energy were to have manifested in this
body-cum-consciousness and then remained in the body ever after, then there
would have been no need to eat each day in order to replenish that coming and
going supply of conscious-energy.)
To understand that plant food cells transform into a variety of different types
of cells in a human form is to be able to understand that there is no human
birth and to understand that
a. via the consumption of plants or
b. the consumption of something that ate plants, then
c. cells merely transformed and then cycled and, via an act of friction, were
d. transferred from a male body to a female body and that alone
e. made it possible for an impregnation to happen.
After that, the mother continued to eat food and cells continued to transform
and a body formed within a body, spontaneously. Nine months later, cycled cells
that had come together appeared in a new combination as the
body-within-the-body emerged.
But nothing was created. What already existed merely cycled; thus, there was no
birth; furthermore, if there was nothing born, then there is nothing that can
die, and additionally, if there was nothing that was born, there is nothing
that can be re-born. Not even once, much less time after time.
If nothing was created, then there was no Creator involved with the spontaneous
process of cycling. If there was nothing created, and hence no
"Creator," then there is also no Creator that decides it is
"your time to die" or decides that "your time is up" or
decides that "a child had to die because I needed another sweet angel in
heaven."
That's all BS and nothing more. And if there was no third-party Creator
involved in the cycling, then there were no parents-as-creators, either.
Parents, you can be as proud of the product of the earth and the product of
your loins as you want, but the humbling reality is that you created nothing.
One male and one female only did two things: (1) they ate food and (2) they
shared a sex act which ended with at least one of them having enjoyed an
orgasm.
That should end any notions about "creation"; that should end the
belief that something noble happened when only eating and fornicating were
involved; and that should bring to an end any belief in "The Parenthood
Myth" as well.
When Maharaj was asked to explain this, he held up his cigarette lighter,
another "elemental thing" that circulated oxygen. He asked, "Can
this die?"
Neither the cigarette lighter nor a person can die. A "person" is
merely an assumed identity, dreamed up by cultures and stored in the
fiction-filled "mind" as a real identity.
Next, Maharaj explained the cycling of the three components of "the
composite unity" thusly:
"If you make a flame, it is full of life and fire. When the vital breath
quits the body, this quality of 'I-am-ness' also disappears.
"That is where the air becomes manifest, it merges with the universal air.
The 'I-am-ness,' this consciousness, also merges with the universal
consciousness. In that state, there is no knowingness and the body becomes one
with the five elements. Where is the death? When the flame is extinguished,
would you call it 'death'?"
When elements come together, nothing is being "created." Already-existing
elements are just coming together, cycling. Yes, a different form might appear
temporarily, but the elements have existed forever. New elements are not
created with a pregnancy. The same, always-existing elements merely combined
temporarily in a different formation or arrangement.
But what comes together will come apart. What does any of that have to do with
something being "created" or with something being
"destroyed"? Neither is happening. All that is happening is the
cycling, a "coming together" which is guaranteed to be followed
eventually by a "coming apart."
Welcome to the modern state of affairs on planet earth where elements have
always come together but always eventually come apart; where couples are now
coming together but, more often than not, eventually coming apart; where bridge
components come together but eventually fall apart;
and where millions of people in the U.S. will spend every “9 / 11”
memorializing the fact that elements were joined together in New York City to
form buildings which were so poorly designed that they had no internal support
but were built with wall-bearing floors instead, guaranteeing that those
structures would fall apart and come down like the vertical stack of dominoes
that they were.
Millions will be reminded of their initial rage over the fact that a few people
knocked down some of their buildings which were designed so shabbily that the
coming apart was guaranteed to happen sooner rather than later;
millions will be convinced again that the typical Aryan / Anglo-Saxon response
to being attacked ("If you attack us for one day, we'll attack you for the
next ten years or twenty years, or longer") has been a justified exercise,
that has supposedly justified hundreds of thousands of deaths, that has
supposedly justified far more maimings, and that has supposedly justified
contributing to huge monetary indebtedness.
Such is the way things are in the relative existence when egotism-driven
persons' perceptions evolve from a state of being asleep while believing that
they are awake and when such persons accept, with unquestioning faith, the
false tales told by others.
Thus, billions will continue to be amazed and proud that they "made a
baby" when in fact nothing happened except this: some elements simply came
together.
Billions will also continue to be amazed when elemental things put together by
humans do not stay together. So it is in the realm of ignorant programming,
ignorant conditioning, ignorant domesticating, and ignorant acculturating.
For those with even the slightest understanding of the science that Maharaj
recommended that seekers should understand, there can be no misunderstandings,
no surprises, and no belief in the lies regarding how some "Power" or
how "The Universe" works in
mysterious ways.
Instead, there will be an understanding of the functioning of the totality, and
then all will merely be witnessed as it happens, and witnessed accurately;
then, at least for them, there can be an end to sleepwalking and sleep-talking,
and there can be an end to accepting as truth - with unquestioning faith - the
false tales which are told by others.
