BEING
MADE CRAZY, CRAZY, STAYING CRAZY or AWARE OF CRAZINESS AND SEEKING SANITY

If you were suffering from a
sickness, would you accept treatment from a doctor that does not (1) complete a
diagnosis and (2) identify cause prior to formulating a treatment plan?
Of course not, so why tolerate
having the Ultimate Sickness treated by a guide that does not identify cause
prior to formulating a treatment plan?
A narcissistic know-it-all showed
up in Maharaj’s loft and started spouting the same-old same-old to try to impress his captive audience with the
supposedly “profound” depth and breadth of his knowledge of all things
non-dual.
Eventually, Maharaj stopped the
man’s monologue and explained that he did not give a tinker’s damn about the
man parroting gurus or guides or writers; instead, Maharaj said that he only
wants to hear about a seeker’s own experiences and from one who shares only
what he or she has come to perceive and understand.
In the next series, we will begin
with finding the actual cause of the Sickness which only a non-dual guides try
to address and then formulate a treatment plan which will differ entirely from the plans which have failed humankind for
thousands of years.
As with Covid-19, researchers and
manufacturers of treatment and / or preventive measures were and are constantly
having to change their treatment plans because of mutations. The same applies
with humankind: the problems of humans - be they physical or psychological -
require treatment from a guide that is constantly studying the innumerable mutations
of the Sickness in order to update and modify and improve the version of the
Ultimate Medicine being used to address all aspects of the Ultimate Sickness.
All prescribed prescriptions
stored in your medicine cabinet have an expiration date. So should the Ultimate
Medicine used for addressing the Ultimate Sickness.
Genes mutate. The result is
physical / body problems. Understandings also mutate. The result is mental /
mind problems.
The Effects of Mutations And
Variants - in Humankind, in the Non-Dual Message, in Religious Texts, in
Spiritual Messaging, in Forms of Government, in Economic Systems, in Tribalism,
in the Human Brain, in sicknesses and the Ultimate Sickness, ad infinitum. Everything is Mutated;
hence, the Normal or Natural Has Been Replaced by the Abnormal, by the
Unnatural, by the Supernatural by Magical and Warped Thinking, by Language, and
by the Resulting Warped, Detrimental Behavior.]

Yesterday’s
post ended with this pointer:
Yet see the “catch”: the seeker needs
some basic understanding of “The Vocabulary of Realization” in order to
differentiate between the guide that is abiding as the original nature vs.
those who are still attached only to the trappings of the relative existence.
Thus, the offering of a means by which seekers can differentiate between the natural vs. the unnatural and the supposedly supernatural; between the true and the false; between fact and fiction; between the sane and the insane; between clear seeing and warped perspectives; between no identity vs. body and mind and personality identifications is being shared here for that purpose.
The
end result can be the ability to move through the remainder of the relative existence
without the burden of overwhelming impedimenta. So seekers are invited to understand
this:
Many who studied pointers offered by Maharaj now focus on only a few aspects of
his pointers in particular. The case with many who are currently on “the
non-duality circuit” and who claim Maharaj as “their mentor” or “one of their
strong influences” are actually presenting a few of his pointers as their own;
however, what they are now marketing is either (A) a narrow, limited, and incomplete version of his understanding or (B) they are sharing some of his pointers plus the elements that they have added to give their version popular appeal.
(For
example: Maharaj spoke of “living in the Now” but he never suggested that would
give you “power,” a concept which has for more than 25 years appealed to the
non-realized masses.)
Before he took mahasamadhi, Maharaj warned that many who studied his words and
who now claim to be realized are actually revealing
(1) via their duality-based words and
(2) via the duality-based concepts that they espouse
that any claims to realization should be questioned.
For example, would the truly realized say “All seems good to me as it is” or “I
meditate on my Self with devotion” or “I am both foolish and wise” or “love
everything that happens, even including rape or the murder of your child” or “I
do not understand myself”? Those are some of the “teaching” of persons who
claim to have realized and who now claim that they are “teaching non-duality.”
So, it can be of assistance to recognize some of the vocabulary of the non-realized
in order to understand the vocabulary being addressed in these recent posts.
Why?
Just as all of that which is false must first be seen and discarded before a
seeker can know truth, and just as all that
one is not must first be seen and discarded as identities before a seeker
can know that which she / he truly is, so too must the vocabulary of the non-realized
be recognized as such - to at least some degree - before “The Vocabulary of
Realization” can be known.
To that end, consider some of the vocabulary being used by those claiming
Maharaj’s influence and also claiming realization; then, consider if their “teachings”
actually deal with non-duality or if they are discussing topics that are
steeped in duality:
To illustrate, would the truly realized speak, as some self-labeled teachers of non-duality do, about “ambition,” about “the
meaning of life,” about “changing your life,” about “someone having a calling,”
about “how to be incredible,” about “succeeding,” about “controlling outcome
via intention,” or about “fostering ambition”?
Would the truly realized speak, as some of those so-called “teachers” do, about
“finding your life’s purpose,” about “a Self that is Infinite,” about “seeking
power and gaining power,” about having “an ageless body and mind,” about “fulfilling
desires,” about “spiritual laws,” about “sacred contracts,” about “knowing God,”
about “being God,” or about “Gods”?
The answer is, unequivocally, “No.” The use of such words or phrases are all “tell’s,”
revealing that truth is not known or that truth is being ignored for the sake
of marketing.
If you disagree, your questioning of this caution is also welcomed; however,
might you not also welcome the opportunity for further understanding by
questioning yourself and your attachment to, or belief in, any of the concepts
above or any of the speakers, authors, and lecturers who teach and talk and
write about the concepts in the list above while using the vocabulary of non-realization?
The use of “The Vocabulary of Non-Realization” must end in order for the use of
“The Vocabulary of Realization” to begin; in fact, if full realization happens,
the use of the first will begin to end at the same moment that the use of the
second earnestly begins.
All
of the words and terms listed above are quotes from persons who studied the
words of Maharaj and are now using those words in lectures and books - words
that are “tell’s.” In the process, they are disseminating concepts and
reinforcing beliefs in concepts rather than guiding seekers to freedom from belief
in false concepts.
More relevant for the seeker is to be conscious of this fact: you cannot be guided
along a “path” which the guide has not first traveled, and you will not reach
your intended destination of full realization if you are not being addressed by
your guide with “The Vocabulary of Full Realization” in a tongue that is
familiar to you;
therefore, you need not learn a foreign language to realize; you need only to be spoken to with “The Vocabulary of Realization” (which often sounds foreign to all in the beginning).
